ROSEHILL: RACE 9 @ 5:20 PM

CROSS TALK (5) has a nice profile for this, going through the grades well last time in before a solid run first up, atoning with an all-the-way-win at Newcastle second up. He's won 50% of his starts and will make his own luck again so looks a logical favourite. BANDERSNATCH (4) is a strong danger. He didn't have much luck in the G2 Ajax Stakes at this track and trip last start, only seeing clear air very late. His form around I Wish I Win and Aegon in Melbourne last campaign reads well and Avdulla can push forward to find a spot. WATERFORD (12) found the line well in the Ajax out wide. He's lightly raced but drawn wide, he's going to get a long way back and need things to go his way.

FLEMINGTON: RACE 1 @ 12:25 PM

VERANSKOVA (4) started last campaign with a booming close to just miss here over 1000m and went on with that in three runs that followed - all over the straight course. Clearly well suited to racing here and her effort to run the smart Asfoora to less than a length on Derby Day leaps off the page. SNAPPED (9) has been freshened and comes back to 1100m. Think that suits and she is a threat along with SERADESS (1) who didn't come up last time but has a nice chance based on her form around this time last year.
SELECTIONS: Tipping Veranskova is too good for these first up.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 7 @ 3:52 PM

THE BIG GOODBYE (3) added to a consistent record at this course when he led and fought well to go under by a neck over this distance last start. Had won two of his previous three runs so has been racing well. Could prove hard to run down. HILAL (1) was a beaten favourite when resuming in his first outing for Gollan but he was less than 3L away. Will be fitter for that and in his last second-up attempt he was fourth in a G1 in Sydney so can improve plenty. LEGAL ESPRIT (8) chased well to place when fresh. Has a 50 percent strike rate when second up and has never missed the top three here. ANIMATE (4) has claims after toughing out a narrow win here last start while HOT SPRING GOLD (10) races well at this course and can progress second up.

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 4 @ 2:02 PM

MERRY MAC BOY (2) came with a good run last start at the Valley when closing off solidly into the minor placings, pipped for second. Shoulders a strong record over the track and trip and should settle in an ideal spot from the low draw. Top trainer. A lot to like. STUPENDO (1) knuckled down smartly to arrive and get the bob last start at Murray Bridge. Can go on with it after a confidence boosting win. VALIDATED (4) picked up from where he left off his debut preparation, emerging on his rivals late to get the verdict. Similar set-up. One of the key players.

ADMIRATION EXPRESS (1) is a smart staying filly who meets this field at set weights today after giving them all weight at her last three runs. Sat on the speed with the 58kg when a gritty third over 2200m in the LR Natasha Trophy at this track on March 12. Warwick sticks and drawn to get every chance. Hard to hold out. SHE'S FIT (3) met ADMIRATION EXPRESS 4 kilos better off when a slick maiden winner of the LR Natasha Trophy over 2200m at this track on March 12. Progressing well and gives every indication of running this trip right out. MEGAMI (2) has been up for some time and backs up after catching the eye when second over 2200m at this track on March 12. Gives every indication of running this distance right out. LINDEN LADY (5) has been a touch disappointing at her last two runs but interesting to see Pike stays aboard. Place prospects look best.
