CRANBOURNE: RACE 8 @ 8:45 PM
PRANCING SPIRIT (3) is a progressive sprinting type who won two back at Stony Creek by 7 lens then collared late when a tough third at Pakenham over 1200m on March 23. Clarke rides again and will take plenty of holding out. BONJOUR DE GAULLE (1) is near his top now third up and indicated he was near his best when a gritty third over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside in tougher grade on April 10. Claim helps but will need luck from the draw. DANCELITTLESISTER (6) resumes after racing in stronger company last time in. Has excellent fresh stats and goes well this trip. Has looked strong in two jump out wins and primed for this. PERI PERI RICH (7) is fourth up tonight and races well this track and trip. Wide gate no help but look for her late. SELECTIONS: Prancing Spirit to win.

CANBERRA: RACE 4 @ 2:15 PM
HELLO JACK (2) has been in great form despite not winning, just going down 0.8L over this track and trip last time out. He should find the front from a handy barrier and he goes well at this track. Expecting him to be very hard to run down. MIL CIENTO (3) resumed with just a fair effort at Goulburn over a short trip. He's trialled well since, with the rise in trip and drop in weight both helping his chances. He's sure to be in the finish. DEEP SHIMMER (5) relished the wet here last time out and 1200m shouldn't be an issue. Can go back-to-back without surprising. IN DE SUN IWILCOME (1) will be aided by an improving track and the run under her belt.

TAMWORTH: RACE 4 @ 2:35 PM
GOLDEN GATE (6) is a lightly raced four-year-old mare who won her only other fresh run on debut at Newcastle in fine style. She's trialled well behind a handy horse at Rosehill and this looks an ideal race for her against some limited opposition. EVER BELLA (2) has now run third in her past three starts, the latest at Ballina when beaten 1.5 lengths. Note she's with a new stable here and in the mix again. INNERVOICE (8) has run two good races this time in, having to settle for second in both. She should be peaking here although the draw doesn't help. ATHENA NYX (4) struggled at Wyong last start having run well at Port Macquarie prior. She's lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement.
SELECTIONS: Golden Gate to win.
CAIRNS: RACE 5 @ 3:17 PM
GO GETABOY (3) finished a fast closing third fresh up and normally improves sharply second up, He drops right down in weight and is also unbeaten in four starts on this track. This race is his for the taking. BATTLE CRY (1) is a tough campaigner who was back in winning form at Townsville last start and races just as well on this deck. He has a terrific record over the distance and looks to be the main threat to the top selection although he does concede that runner five kilos in weight. HEIRBORN (6) is another consistent performer who usually comes to hand quickly. He is better known over more ground these days but is still capable of producing a big effort fresh up. Watch for him late. NEMINGAH (7) is fresh up for a new trainer and has performed well in stronger company in the past. He has form in the wet and if not in need of the run he could have the last say. Include in all multiples.

WODONGA: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM
FIRST COMMANDMENT (6) has caught the eye in her two runs back, closing off strongly to fall just shy of the placings on both occasions. Worth noting the blinkers being applied first time to hopefully help her focus. Drawn favourably and should be nearing her peak third-run in. Will take beating. STORM'S COLOURS (2) has been thereabouts of late but struggles to land the winning blow. Jack Hill reunites and has built a strong association, scoring twice aboard. Could be making it a third. MISS ATHENA (8) hasn't done a great deal wrong this time in. Ticking along nicely and only has to hold her form to be competitive. RAPID RUBY (7) next best.
