Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Moree, Pakenham, Kyneton, Rockhampton and Pinjarra.

HAWKESBURY: RACE 6 @ 3:15 PM

FOURTH SPARGO (3) is ready to make her return after enjoying a successful debut campaign, scoring at her only start. Looks to have come on during the break and should prove tough to stop. KUNNESE (1) was an impressive last start maiden winner. Comes in full of confidence and is sure to make his presence felt. PARTY DOLL (5) knuckled down gamely to shed the maiden tag at the latest. Confidence boosting win and gets a positive jockey switch to Brett Prebble. Sure to be very competitive. MEOD (8) has put in two solid chases to the line in her two resuming efforts. Strips fitter and should be running on. Not without hope. KEIKOKU (9) was well below his best last start on a testing Kembla Grange surface. Sharp improvement expected with anticipated firmer footing.
SELECTIONS: Backing Fourth Spargo to win.

MOREE: RACE 7 @ 4:10 PM

MAJORITY (7) placed at this level resuming at Scone and then grabbed a placing at Dubbo in a 74. Goes up 2kg in easier grade but will be fitter and the Gallagher-Robb jockey-trainer linkage are lethal. ROUSSOS (5) resumes and has placed 2/3 fresh. His last two runs were in much stronger company and he can make the finish if presented on-song. BRIEFLY (11) has been knocking on the door but has to overcome a wide gate. RIVER MAC (1) resumed in good order for the new barn and has more to give. An even wider gate tempers expectations.
SELECTIONS: Majority should prevail.

PAKENHAM: RACE 3 @ 6:15 PM

ELLY DEE (5) has been to the races on five occasions registering four seconds and a third. Is overdue to record her maiden win and gets that chance here. ROMANOVA (10) is returning from a break. Showed ability in first campaign and is sure to be well-primed for first-up assault. Has to be treated with respect. TJAARDA (12) was very easy in the market on debut and was comfortably held. Has trialled up in preparation for return and should not be left out of calculations. BOOM BOOM BETTY (2) has been placed in two of her three starts and most recent effort was solid after being on speed throughout. Has to be given thought.
SELECTIONS: Back Elly Dee to win.

KYNETON: RACE 5 @ 3:00 PM

I AM CAVIAR (2) is in a top barn and missed a nose first-up as favourite before delivering a big maiden win at Bairnsdale from the speed when the money came again. The well-bred gelding is much improved and will be hard to roll with the benefit of a handy 4kg claim. SILVER WAVES (5) is in the premier barn and followed the easy Maiden win with a narrow defeat at Bairnsdale when heavily-bet again. The gate is a touch awkward but she's also progressive and is a chance to bounce. SCREAMING DIVA (7) didn't handle the heavy track at Cranbourne but led and won the Maiden first-up prior. Has the 2kg claim and the speedy mare will take catching. IMPS (6) draws well and resumed in good order in town. He has more up the her sleeve and will run along on an 8-day return.
SELECTIONS: I Am Caviar gets the nod.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 2 @ 1:34 PM

Hard to knock the form of REAL STATEMENT (2) who scored by 1.2L at this track last time, giving her three wins and a second in a four-start campaign. Building an impressive record here and blinkers go on this time. Drawn to get the favours so can go close again. BETTER RAIN (1) is building up to another win. Gave a sight when beaten 1.5L two back at Doomben then settled back but closed for second here last time. Has placed in all eight attempts at this course, winning four. Strong claims despite the big weight. MIA'S DREAM (5) deserved the last-start maiden win after kicking off the preparation with back-to-back placings. Could take the next step. TEQUILA DANCER (4) could improve returning to a venue where she has recorded a win and a placing from two previous visits.
SELECTIONS: Real Statement to continue the strong form.

PINJARRA: RACE 2 @ 1:04 PM

AFFLUENTIAL (3) was racing out of his grade last start and only missed out on winning by a nose after trying to lead all the way a fortnight ago. He is back to maiden class today and with that extra fitness on his side, he should go one better. SUPER ROMANI (5) kept on grinding away when finishing runner up at Northam last time out and is now looking for a middle distance. He has a few things in his favour today and is poised to clear his maiden status. ROHRZUCKER (10) could have been half a run short last start in his first race in nearly a month. She was building nicely prior to her last effort and is definitely worth another chance. Each-way. LA CARTIER (6) found the line with purpose last start when finishing third after not having all the luck in a couple of runs before that. He has been kept busy this year and if the breaks go his way, then he can break through for a deserved winning turn.
SELECTIONS: Affluential to win.
