Missing out on our fix of South Australian racing last week after high winds and an abundance of untamed tumbleweed put an end to the day's action, we are eager to jump back in and find some winners.

I don't think the extra week between runs will hinder the chances of our best play of the day in East Indiaman (Race 6).

Dropping back from a competitive Bm 70 at Sandown-Hillside fresh when holding his own - beaten a neck in third, the Hinchinbrook gelding now tackles a Bm64 in his home state.

Two-time winner second-up, East Indiaman has more than enough dash to cross from the outside draw and dictate proceedings.

Expect him to be too tough to reel in for his rivals.

Our other play for the day's action comes a few races earlier with the Matthew Seyers-trained Test The Law (Race 2).

In what looks an open contest with three runners below $4, I believe the three-year-old gelding holds a touch of class over his rivals and is perfectly set to bounce back into the winner's circle.

Test The Law kicked off the campaign in fine fashion with two bold showings – which included a win, before going a miss at Murray Bridge but then managed to turn it around and savage the line here last start.

He faces one of his easiest assignments to date dropping back to a Bm 62 and should appreciate stepping out to 1500m.

Draws to get the gun run and should be too strong for them late.
