LISZTOMANIA (12) is a progressive filly facing her stiffest test. Heavily supported in betting $1.70 fav when a commanding 1.75 len win over 1206m at Port Macquarie on February 5. Not asked to do much in a recent trial over 1000m at Port Macquarie on February 27. At her top now and gets the right run from the draw. Hard to beat. TALBRAGAR (4) finished unplaced in the Kosciuszko then resumed over 1000m at Tamworth where he stalked the pace before scoring a solid 1.4 len on March 6. Has won four from five starts and has to stretch out to the 1400m here from the wide gate. Expected to take a hand in the finish. THE DRAMATIST (10) raced well in Highway grade last time in and returned in good order with a solid neck second over 1200m at Tamworth on February 26. Has won second up and at this track and trip. Serious player. CASINO LORD (1) is a consistent sprinter who impressed at first attempt at 1400m when third over 1400m at Tamworth on February 26. Has the ability to take this out.

COFFS HARBOUR: RACE 8 @ 5:30 PM

EMPRESS ZOU (10) returned with a bang at Taree off the back of a sharp trial, scoring with a bit up her sleeve. Gets in lighter for the rise in grade but is open to further improvement. The one to beat. MR TABASCO (2) let down nicely to get the verdict here last start. Racing in good order and there's no reason he can't go on with it. SASSY CHOICE (6) caught the eye fresh here when closing off strongly from the rear for a midfield finish. Will appreciate the extra 100m and is can settle closer to the action from the low draw. Expecting a much better showing from PENDLETON (11).

CHINCHILLA: RACE 4 @ 2:20 PM

BUCKALTIUS (1) stuck on well when resuming last start to finish third over 1100m at Dalby after showing good early speed. Won his only previous second-up attempt. Should be in this for a long way. CLEARLY GEORGE (3) lines up on the back of a 3 length sixth over 1200m at Sunshine Coast to follow a placing at Toowoomba. His best form has come at this distance. Leading contender. ROTHERO ESSGEE (4) is under the care of new trainer Rochelle Pereira this prep. Has trialled and is well drawn. Worth plenty of thought. CRAIGLEA LAKI (5) won at Thangool two starts ago but was below her best last time. Could turn things around.
SELECTIONS: Buckaltius to progress off a good return and win.
