Morphettville Parks Races Review on 25th March 2023

I am Unstoppable lived up to his purchase price of $85,000 when he took out the 1000 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Coming out of the Lloyd Kennewell stable at Cranbourne the Zac Spain ridden colt I Am Unstoppable  raced in a handy position.

The training operation of Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle continued its good run when Tapinforpar took out the 1400 metre second race.

Ridden by inform apprentice Lachlan Neindorf Tapinforpar settled well before going on to win comfortably.

Apprentice Lachlan Neindorf together with co-trainers Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle brought up a race to race double when My Khalifa won the 1400 metre third race.

Coming off a last start fifth on the Parks track My Khalifa came from a midfield position to register his seventh win form twenty-one starts.

The more than useful galloper Validated  brought up his second race in succession in the 1250 metre fourth race.

Prepared by husband-and-wife team of Peter and Belinda Blanch the Dom Tourneur ridden Validated came from a near last position late in the event to win.

Ichibansan put in a good performance for future races in Adelaide during the Autumn when he took out the 1950 metre fifth race.

Having the services of Jason Holder the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas prepared Ichibansan led all the way.

The Hayes brothers Ben and JD continued their good run when their charge Naboo Star took out the 1550 metre sixth race.

Ridden by apprentice Madison Lloyd Naboo Star came from a midfield position to run down the leader Rialtor.

A polished ride by apprentice Ben Price saw Pontedera take out the 1250 metre seventh race.

Prepared at Murray Bridge by Michael Hickmott and resuming from a spell Pontedera came from a worse than midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Coming off a last start third on the Parks track Starlite Valley went two better when she took out the 1300 metre eighth race.

Prepared at Strathalbyn by Kym Healy the Caitlin Jones guided Starlite Valley  led all the way.

Apprentice Gary Lo continued his good come-back from injury when he guided Shirshov to a win in the 1000 metre final event.

Prepared by Phillip Stokes at his Morphettville stable Shirshov was in a good position throughout the event.
