Sandown-Lakeside Race 2- Attrition
Easily the win of the day at Sandown with Attrition relishing a good tempo and a dry deck, coming from near last to win in dominant fashion, letting rip in the straight to go on and score by 2.75L. The Racing & Sports speed figure was strong for the day- much better than the other two 1400m races on the card, and there's no doubt he'll relish getting over a bit more ground. Out to 1600m next start in a Bm64 and I'd be surprised if he wasn't going very close.
Warwick Farm Race 6- Command Approved
This was a very smart win by a promising sprinter who has now won three from seven including both runs this preparation, with the gelding operation seemingly doing wonders. He showed promise earlier in his career but looks to be putting it all together now and has shown them a clean set of heels in both wins. He does still have a tendency to lay out late in his races but if he continues to improve like he is, there's no reason he can't measure up to Saturday races at a higher level.
