Warwick Farm Race 4- Goldman

This is a strong stayer who is making a mess of them in Australia and can measure up to Saturday class shortly. Originally from New Zealand, Gai & Adrian were quick to get him over a trip, kicking him off over 2000m and winning by 5.3 lengths at Kembla Grange. He ran to 95 with Timeform there and improved on that to run to 99 here, winning by 5.6 lengths on this occasion. As is custom with the stable, he puts himself on the speed and stays very well which will make him hard to beat in any scenario.

Sandown-Hillside Race 4- Magic Madonna

Not the strongest day at Sandown and while this race didn't go all that well for the two-year-olds, Magic Madonna certainly caught the eye with a strong finish from back in the field. Her last 600m was the 6th fastest of the meeting on debut and expect getting to 1100m or 1200m next start in a maiden will be suitable. On a day where nothing really caught the eye, her 20-1 SP and smaller stable should mean we get a decent price next start again.
