Hawthorn's Tegan Cunningham and Adelaide's Jess Waterhouse have both copped one-match bans for incidents during round six of the AFLW season.

Cunningham was charged with rough conduct for a third-quarter hit against West Coast's Charlotte Thomas on Friday.

It was classified as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, drawing a one-match ban.

Waterhouse's strike on Port's Amelie Borg was classed as intentional conduct, low impact, and high contact, also drawing a one-match ban.

West Coast forward Aimee Schmidt can escape with a reprimand for a rough conduct charge, while Gold Coast's Serene Watson can accept the same for her charge of a dangerous tackle on Richmond's Monique Conti.

The match-day report against Richmond's Kodi Jacques for her front-on bump on Gold Coast's Lauren Ahrens was thrown out.
