Richmond Tigers v Geelong Cats

Tim Taranto Most Disposals Group 1 $2.35

Mitch Duncan 20 + Disposals $1.64

Tanner Bruhn 15+ Disposals $1.52

While contention swirls around whether or not Tim Taranto is in the top 150 players in the AFL, there can be no doubt about his ball winning abilities. Outside of Taranto, this game doesn't feature many players who rack up big numbers and Taranto should be able to take the lead in the disposal game. One player who can rack up numbers though is Mitch Duncan - Duncan has had an up and down season but the pressure will be on him this week Geelong's midfield looking depleted. Duncan will need to be at his best if the Cats want to win this. Another Cat who will need to step up is Tanner Bruhn, who hasn't managed to crack into the Cats minefield as of yet but the opportunity will be there for him this week.

Carlton Blues v Western Bulldogs

Blake Acres 25+ Disposals $1.74

Caleb Daniel 25+ Disposals $2.65

Sam Docherty 25+ Disposals $1.64

Blake Acres has been on a heater recently with the Blues sharing plenty of the ball around. This game reeks of a high disposal affair with both teams capable of reaching big numbers. Acres could have another big day out on his wing. We're taking a punt here with Daniel but someone will need to replace Treloar's proficiency in the middle of the ground. Daniel was trialled as a midfielder all pre-season and was the one to replace Liberatore when he was forced to miss a week, Daniel was always a ball winner and could find himself in the middle again. No matter where he plays, Sam Docherty finds the ball. The defender has found himself in the midfield and forward line this year but has continued to find the pill. Docherty is as safe as they come.

Adelaide Crows v St Kilda Saints

Rory Laird 30+ Disposals $1.87

Riley Thilthorpe Any Time Goal Scorer $1.55

Josh Rachele 20+ Disposals $2.45

Rory Laird hasn't quite reached his heights from last year but a matchup against the Saints could provide the perfect setting for him. St Kilda have been giving up big numbers and tend to play a slow, contested game, something that suits Laird perfectly. Riley Thilthorpe has been playing good football recently with his best coming higher up the ground, however, against the Saints, quick ball movement will be hard to come by and contested marks may be Adelaide's best route to success. This has been Thilthorpe's domain this year and he could easily clunk one against the Saints. Rachele was pushed out of the midfield rotation last week with the Crows going down to Geelong. Adelaide should rectify that this week and get one of their more exciting players around the ball to beat the Saints.
