Australian freestyle skiing sensations Jakara Anthony and Matt Graham have finished the moguls season as world No.1 and No.2 respectively.

Born and raised on the NSW Central Coast, Graham has bounced back in fine style from his injury-decimated 2022 Olympic campaign, collecting four World Cup medals this season along with a spectacular double-medal performance at the recent world championships.

The 28-year-old, who earlier this month told AAP a twice-attempted operation to repair his broken collarbone had been unsuccessful, claimed a bronze medal overnight at the season-finale in Kazakhstan to cement his status on the global stage.

He will undergo surgery for a third time later this month.

In the men's super-final, Graham put down the fastest run of the round, scoring 78.42 points to finish third for the 22nd World Cup podium place of his career.

World No.1 Mikael Kingsbury, of Canada, won the Almaty event with 85.67 points, ahead of local favourite Pavel Kolmakov (78.72).

"Coming off an injury last year to bounce back this way is really exciting for me and fuels the fire moving forward" Graham said.

In the women's event, 2022 Olympic champion Anthony was unable to compete at the World Cup final, but after her dominant performances earlier in the season - she won the opening four events - had an unbeatable lead in the overall mogul standings.

For Cairns-born Anthony success brings a third Crystal Globe and world No.1 ranking of her career.

The season will come to a close with the dual moguls event, which will make its Olympic debut at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano-Cortina in Italy.

With his singles bronze-medal finish, Graham has moved into third on the overall standings, incorporating both mogul disciplines and will be looking to maintain his spot on the overall podium.

"I will leave it all out on the table and give it my all, it's the last day of the season," Graham said.
