One win doesn't make a winter in the NRL so coach Wayne Bennett and his Dolphins have stopped basking in last week's glories ahead of their round-two showdown with Canberra.

A sold-out Kayo Stadium at Redcliffe on Saturday will have 10,000 fans hoping the Dolphins can replicate their inaugural 28-18 win over the Sydney Roosters.

"We've got to move on from it and I'm sure we have done that. We will know (on game day) whether we have or not," Bennett said after the team's final training run on Friday.

"You can't live on one game. Everyone realises that. They will be wanting to go out there and show everybody that they can consistently play at that level. That's our challenge now."

The Dolphins coach was in fine form at his press conference, with his wry humour out in force.

When it was put to Bennett that it was "a big occasion" to be playing in front of a sell-out home crowd he had a pointed response.

"Are you going to tell me this every week, that it is a big occasion? There are 24 rounds in the competition. It is round two. That's the occasion," Bennett grinned.

"Every week can't be a big occasion, otherwise we'd be worn out by round four."

The Dolphins will give an NRL debut to lock Mason Teague who replaces the injured Ray Stone (knee) on the bench.

Teague captained Penrith to under-19 premiership success last year and has been a strong performer in pre-season.

Teague's debut follows that of his former Panthers teammate Isaiya Katoa last week at No.6.

Bennett has not watched much of Teague, but likes what he has seen so far.

"He's played a couple of trial games which he has been very good at," Bennett said.

"He has earned his spot with his attitude to everything he's done here. The players want to play with him."

The Dolphins had plenty of heroes last week but none more so than back-rower Felise Kaufusi who was named the Artie Legacy Medal winner following a brutal defensive display.

"He better do it again. It will do a lot more for the group tomorrow," Bennett grinned.

Bennett played down any suggestion of an off-field feud with Raiders coach Ricky Stuart adding spice to the contest.

"I don't know where that has come from. I've never played against him. I've coached against him plenty of times," Bennett said.

"I've got a lot of respect for Ricky. We are not playing tomorrow, either of us."

The Raiders narrowly lost 19-18 to North Queensland in Townsville last week and Bennett said Stuart would have them well prepared.

"They have been a tough team since Ricky went back there. They have played a grand final and lots of finals," Bennett said.

"They are going to be hard to beat and we'll have to play well."
