MICHAEL MORONEY

Michael Moroney was granted his training license in New Zealand in 1982 where he spent 18 years training before setting up a stable at Morphettville.
Michael Moroney moved to Flemington two years later and quickly forged his way to the top of the Victorian training ranks.
With plenty of success on both sides of the Tasman, Moroney's first Group 1 success came with Capricious Lass in the 1996 West Australian Derby.
In 2000, Moroney won the Melbourne Cup with Brew and now has stables at Flemington, Randwick and Matamata.
