ROSEHILL December 3

RACE 1 (4) KAZALARK: This lightly raced 3YO followed up his maiden win over 1500m at Hawkesbury with a close second in the G3 Spring Stakes over 1600m at Newcastle. That Group placing is a strong recommendation for this class and everything about him suggests the extra 200m will suit.

RACE 3 (2) GARZA BLANCA: Promising I Am Invincible colt lands in Sydney off a record breaking win by three lengths over 1200m at Cranbourne when he relished a dry track. The Maher/Eustace team are refining the art of switching their rising talents between cities and while he rises 4kg off his last start this class is well within his scope if he continues on his upward spiral.

RACE 9 (10) I AM ME: Exciting mare resumed off a five months break to smash her own sex in a BM78 over this course and distance on November 5 under 58.5kg, giving her three wins from four starts over 1100m. She has been kept up to the mark with an impressive trial placing at this course and has the figures to measure up to this stronger company with her handy drop to the limit weight. As expected she is at short odds - make her the anchor for multi bets.

RACE 2 (13) RADIOHEAD (Value): No luck in recent starts. Can figure if things go his way this time.

RACE 4 (7) FRUMOS: Best to come from this mare. Two soft trials have her primed.

RACE 5 (8) DIVINE BREATH (EW): Has needed recent runs. Ready to show best from good gate.

RACE 6 (2) SMIRK (EW): Returns to home track with blinkers on. Expect improvement.

RACE 7 (11) AMATHUBA (EW): Excellent first-up placing after a tough wide run. Plenty of upside.

RACE 8 (12) CAVALIER CHARLES (EW): Honest sprinter has been freshened since his last start placing when caught wide. Better draw this time.

RACE 10 (14) NEWLEY WED (Value): Strong win second up against own sex over this course. Can go on with it.

TRIAL POINTERS

ROSEHILL November 24: Talented mare I AM ME has freshened up nicely since her easy Rosehill win on November 5, working well within herself to finish a close second in a strong 900m heat (53.64; 34.27). She's won four of her nine starts and should have no trouble adding to that record. The fastest of the three 1030m trials was won by PORTNOY (61.79; 34.70) in a heat where the efforts of the talented pair MICRO (2nd) and FRUMOS (4th) were excellent pointers to their future prospects. ENFOLDED won his maiden at Gosford in August and looks ready to go on with in his coming campaign after an impressive win in the fastest 800m heat of the session (53.17; 33.45). Sat second under a good hold before doing it easily to gain the upper hand over the last 100m, leaving the third horse eight lengths behind.

GOSFORD November 21: The notable efforts in the 1000m heats included an easy win by the free running MISS CHECKONI (60.24; 35.17) while the 800m heats featured a sharp win by the Brad Widdup-trained ZALINI (49.08; 34.71).

WARWICK FARM November 18: The first heat over 1205m was won in decisive style by LOOKS LIKE ELVIS (74.38; 36.25). In the shorter trials heat winner ANGEL FUND (794m 46.88; 34.10) is in good form while nice efforts in the maiden heats saw soft work from MILLYBELLA, MAD DARCEY and WERE DA YA GET IT take the eye.

RANDWICK November 14: GUNDY BRIDGE has had 12 months off since he won his maiden at Kembla Grange at third time of asking. This was his second trial back and he is set to make up for lost time after sprinting to an impressive seven lengths win in his 1080m heat in easily the fastest time over the distance (63.08; 33.49).

RANDWICK November 8: Godolphin 4YO has MICRO raced only once in 12 months but suspect he is primed to make up for lost time after an eye catching fifth in his open trial over 850m (49.96; 32.81). He travelled strongly on the rail behind the leaders and from the 400m to the 100m was under a big hold waiting for some clear air but it was all over by the time he gained galloping room. Loved the way he extended through the line and is sure to take plenty of benefit from this trial.
