At Hanshin is the Grade 2 Hochi Hai Fillies' Revue on turf and its a strong contest with a number of fillies coming back from Grade 1 class along with a host of promising types on the way through their grades.

Also on the turf at Chukyo is the Grade 2 Kinko Sho over 2000m and it, too, is a competitive race with plenty of chances.

Chukyo Race 11 - # 12 Prognosis 

Lightly raced galloper resuming. A son of Deep Impact who has raced just seven times for four wins and two minors. His only run out of the placings was actually last start but that was an impressive effort in Grade 3 company. After getting well back in the big field, he charged home to finish fourth but beaten only a length.

The entire was spelled following the run and presents here with four wins and a second from five fresh-up runs. He looks well placed today and tough to hold out.

In an open race, Deep Monster looks a big threat. Also a son of Deep Impact, he was a fast finishing winner in easier grade fresh but has upside and his best figures stack up. He should be working home into the finish again.

Hanshin Dirt Race 12 - #1 Kafuji Enneagon 

Talented filly who just missed fresh and can go one better. Led them up when resuming from a break, crossing from wide out and kicking strongly but was grabbed right on the line. She is a second-up winner and will present fitter. The filly also draws the rails this time and with the fence to follow will take catching again this time.

Merci looks the biggest danger. She went to the paddock a winner this course and distance then returned here fresh and was among the placings. Leading rider Yutake Take takes over this time and has both of her career wins to his credit.

Hanshin Race 7 - #4 Seven Summit 

Lightly raced galloper resuming. Seems to do his best work with fresh, with limited racing in each spaced campaign. Hasn't raced since late last year, when also resuming in a similar race. Settled well back and looked little hope but flew late and just missed in a photo.

He looks well placed in similar grade here and enjoys the course and distance. Off a low draw he should enjoy a nice run and prove tough to stop late.

Taketombo presents off a good run and looks the main threat. He crossed from a wide gate last time and led until late before being run down. Off a much better drawn this time, he will give a sight again.

Nakayama Race 7 - #7 Antano Ballade 

Today's moderate allowance race is the easiest assignment faced by this filly since she won her maiden four starts ago in September. Since then, the daughter of Danon Ballade has run respectable races at Grade 2 and Grade 3 level, and last time out made late ground to get up for second in a stronger allowance race over 1400m at Tokyo. 

Although coming back to 1200m, there is plenty of pace in this race so jockey Hironobu Tanabe will park the three-year-old just off the pace. She only needs to run close to her figures in the two appearances this prep to double her winning tally. 

Kurino Gogh is back from a short spell and looks the danger. He saves his best for this circuit, with a win and two minor placings from three visits here. The colt progressed nicely in his maiden campaign and can go onto better things this time in work.
