Clarken, Jollys, Richards/Moyle claim Racing Rewards bonuses

Will Clarken-trained filly Wakanjeja didn’t take long to get back her purchase price for connections following two runs in November.

Placed on debut behind Who's Clang the daughter of Impending scored an impressive 2.4 length Morphettville won on the Parks track on November 19, her two starts earning connections $47,140 in prizemoney and an additional $22,250 in Racing Rewards SA bonuses.

The two-year-old looks a bargain buy after being picked up for just $40,000 at the 2021 Inglis Classic sale in Melbourne.

"Wakanjeja had the best action of any horse we bought in 2021,'' Bloodstock agent Suman Hedge and part-owner said.

"She's not big but is so athletic. She's very exciting,'' he said.

Aside of training their second highest number of winners for 2022, they were the highest nominator banking $8,750 while the combination had another $2,220 jump in via training bonuses to take their season tally to $8,480 in Racing Rewards.
