RACE 1 - 1:40PM Sportsbet Same Race Multi Maiden Plate (900 METRES)
CHESSPIECE is on debut for the Paul Preusker stable and was narrowly beaten in a recent Stawell trial. There doesn't look a lot of depth here and he should take beating from the inside barrier. MUNTHAM MISS is on debut for Belinda O'Loughlin and ran 2nd in her first trial here before winning the latest and looks a danger from the wide barrier.Redneck Woman was well beaten behind Cry Cry Baby on debut at Bordertown but has trialled OK here for her return. Awen was on speed when 2nd behind Tahnee Treasure at Bordertown back in October. He was beaten 6 lengths in 4th behind Final Atom at Penola last time out and then ran 5th in a trial here. BORNEO must be respected here despite having done little in five Victorian runs. BAY WATER had backing on debut back in January 2022 and was OK in a Naracoorte trial in November. NEXTONE was placed here three starts back behind Palace Keys and draws a good barrier.

RACE 2 - 2:15PM Nutrien Mount Gambier Maiden Plate (1400 METRES)
EARL OF BANTRY hasn't done a lot in four Victorian runs, the latest beaten 5.1 lengths at Hamilton. He gets blinkers from an inside barrier and can improve sharply. RUMOUR LANE is unplaced in six starts but was OK beaten 2.2 lengths in a recent Stawell trial. ROXY QUEEN was specked at odds when beaten 6.05 lengths behind Machinegun Kelly at Terang on debut but draws a middle gate and gets winkers for the first time. FLOYD'S PREDICTION was 4th in two runs here in May/June and draws a nice barrier. MR FERRARI was OK when 4th at Penola behind Ibutho last time.

RACE 3 - 2:50PM Scott Group of Companies Benchmark 66 Handicap (2050 METRES)
HOT SUSPECT comes off a Summer Cup win here beating Red Patrol and Clever Man. He jumps 5kg after the claim for Ryan Houston, he's also an acceptor at Sandown, but is sure to take beating if he runs here. BACK IN ACTION was 5th in the same race and meets the winner 1kg better at the weights, he draws a nice gate and looks the big danger. ANARYA was OK behind Thrill Kill in the Coonawarra Cup at Penola last time, getting up in trip is a positive from a good barrier. CALVI is an ex Danny O'Brien galloper who has shown ability and was a Bairnsdale winner last July. He is fitter and can improve. FIFTH HUSBAND was a winner this track and trip three runs back.

DALE'S ROCKET was super here two starts back when pressured up front before finding plenty and then backed-up with a solid effort when 2nd behind Thrill Kill in the Coonawarra Cup at Penola last time. He gets in here OK after the 4kg claim and should give a big sight from the good gate again. LORD GOLBERG had specking at odds when beaten 5.35 lengths behind Picaroon in the Country Final at Flemington back in November, he gets in well and must be respected. WHAT A FLIRT has been in the money at both runs here winning her last start here beating The Penske File. ARTIE'S AVIATOR has bene placed at both runs in SA the latest here behind Snaptof.

KEV'S GIRL had good backing and led when 4th behind Maddison Miss here last time. She has to lug 62.5kg again but will give a sight. CARRY ON CAMPING got back and made good ground to be beaten 1.1 lengths in the same race. He draws a gate and should give this a shake. HI SMOKEY scored at decent odds at Naracoorte two runs back before he led here when beaten 5.5 lengths behind Ravnikar last time. GIALLO wasn't beaten far at Geelong three starts back

HOT ROD BOY comes off a win here beating ORPHELINE, who has placed at her past four, when he got back but was strong late. He draws a nice barrier and the rise in trip should suit. BENOVSKY was 3rd in that race and has been placed at both runs this track and trip. LUV THE BOOL had market support when beaten 5.4 lengths behind Capulet at Geelong. VIA CAPO was runner-up at Terang two runs back and nicely drawn. BULL DUST had backing when beaten 3.5 lengths behind Sevilana at Hamilton. FOREVER WAITING was a Bordertown winner three starts back but draws out. HONOUR THE SKILLS draws the inside and has been in the money at two of four runs here.

QUICK RHAPID recorded consecutive wins at Penshurst and Bordertown before jumping favourite when 3rd behind Sir Sway at Bordertown, the winner has run well up in class since. ALL CLUBS was runner-up in that race and looks suited here. SHOCKING HABIT also comes out of that race, he was beaten 1.9 lengths in 4th. RAVNIKAR has won three of his past five the latest here beating Chill With Teejay, he has a good record this track and trip and strong claims again. BON'S YOUR BACK was a Warrnambool winner two runs back before being well beaten at Geelong. CRANC was a winner here
