KATELYN MALLYON
Katelyn Mallyon, the grand-daughter of former Group 1 winning jockey Mick Mallyon began her career in 2010.
Mallyon became the first female jockey to win the Victorian Apprentices title in 2011/12 before missing a majority of the following season due to a serious race fall.
Mallyon returned to the saddle to claim the title again in 2013/13 and in 2017 claimed her first Group 1 success aboard Silent Sedition in the William Reid Stakes.
