NAR racing continues Wednesday with the card at Ohi the highlight of the four meetings as it hosts an extremely competitive Conditions event over 1200m.

Racing will also go ahead at Kasamatsu, Mombetsu, and Sonoda, with each of the separate meetings offering intriguing betting opportunities.

Talented entire Aurora Tesoro looks awfully hard to beat in the feature at Ohi after an impressive victory last start in the Cluster Cup however is likely to be well-found by the market.

Kasamatsu Race 7 - #6 Grand Federigo

Anticipated race favourite Friend Porus will take a power of beating however will likely attract much of the market attention while the Hiroshi Sasano-trained Grand Federigo potentially sneaks under the radar.

Saluting two starts ago before finishing midfield in tougher company at the latest, the son of Fenomeno strikes a much more suitable assignment this time down in grade.

Leading rider Maki Mukoyama electing to stick is a major boost in confidence, with the hoop striking at a remarkable 28% in his last 50 rides.

With good pace drawn on his outside, the four-year-old should enjoy a comfortable run in behind a solid pace before hopefully being too strong for them late.

Mombetsu Race 12 - #6 Perfume Ribbon

Despite a plain performance at the latest, Perfume Ribbon has had a promising start to her time under her new trainer Yoshimi Yanagizawa and profiles nicely for this assignment.

While admittedly the highly consistent Sieglinde does look difficult to topple, the booking of top jockey Masaaki Kuwamura is a big positive for this daughter of Danon Legend - with the in-form hoop striking at 26% from his last 50 rides.

Already tasting success at this track in only three attempts, the four-year-old also gets in light at the weights with 53kgs on her back.

Sonoda Race 6 - #1 Avocado

In what is sure to be a competitive C2 event over 1400m with many last start winners, Avocado is the one who gets the nod.

This daughter of Espoir City returned with a bang fresh when saluting by three lengths in a dominant front-running performance and confidence boosting win.

Tomohiro Sasada sticks for the smart Masashi Atarashi stable – who hold a 16% strike rate from their last 50 starters and 25% from their last 350.

Drawn to advantage with plenty of early dash, you can expect Sasada to take this filly straight to the front and prove difficult to reel in.

Ohi Race 4 - #3 AI MI Hai Tea

While early markets have Masahiro Matsuzaki's returning colt Gletscher as the one to beat, we are siding with the progressive Ai Mi Hai Tea to dismiss the favourite.

Battling on gamely to the line fresh, this Lani filly is sure to have taken natural benefit from her first-up run and once again reunites with talented hoop Tsubasa Sasagawa – who is striking at 18% in his last 50 rides.

Without a great deal of engaged speed and drawn ideally in barrier three, Sasagawa will have no issues in landing his mount in her preferred position up on the speed and should be mighty tough to hold out.
