While admittedly dominant last start track and trip winner Toho Orion will be difficult to defeat,Luminous Blue is drawn to get all the favours and looks a great each-way chance.
Although the three-year-old is yet to break through, he has found the frame in six of ten starts over this track and distance and profiles well for this with Tatsuya Watanabe sticking – striking at 24% from his last 50 rides.
Without a great deal of early speed engaged, Watanabe has the option to take his mount forward from the inside barrier and could take plenty of catching.
Kawasaki Race 10 - #11 Sanei Wolf
With the promising J K Mafki sure to attract plenty of market support as she chases her third consecutive win, the Kenichi Takatsuki-trained Sanei Wolf shows great appeal as an attractive betting option.
With regular rider Taito Mori partnering once more with a strike rate of 22% in his last 50 rides, the consistent entire strips rock-hard fit for this assignment and will be hoping to atone a couple of recent narrow defeats.
Sure to be coming with a strong effort late in proceedings, the extra 100 meters will benefit the son of Hokko Tarumae - who was a multiple Group 1 winner over 1800m+.
