Laying Riff Rocket, who can win, but looks short enough with the Waller/JMac tax. He won a basic Class 1 at Kembla Grange first-up and was beaten in a BM72 at Rosehill in a race that although rated well enough for this, not enough to make him a $2.8 favourite in early markets.
Star Patrol brings in clearly the best rating, if he is able to bounce off that very fast race last start, he will likely win this. Jigsaw gets thrown in here 1200m first-up down the straight, it doesn't look a great set up for him as most of his best wins and best ratings are around tight turning tracks.
Not convinced the Kibou form lines from Kayobi's last start are that strong. With Jett Stanley on board and the inside draw I'm happy to take it on.
