Ipswich: Race 2; #4 Glen Massey 

I am happy to risk Glen Massey at the current price. He meets the top two horses who produced impressive closing figures last start and with top jockeys engaged, they look the likely winners and are rightly taking up the majority of the market percentage.

Further, Glen Massey is yet to win when second up and likely will produce his best performances later in the prep when up to 2000m+

Ballarat: Race 8; #3 Gin O'Clock 

Laying Gin O'Clock, who was a savage drifter first-up at The Valley and although gets a slightly better set-up here, 1200m up to 1400m and a longer straight, he was so outpaced first-up that I think he will need longer than 1400m to show his best. Plenty Of Ammo was outstanding first-up and will just need horses to be able to run on down the middle of the track to win.

Hawkesbury: Race 3; #2 Last Ditch Effort 

Blinkers go on for the first time however has drawn widest here and the last couple of closing figures produced have been poor. I am happy to risk him up to this trip for the first time.

Hawkesbury: Race 6; #4 Andronicus 

Produced an impressive maiden win last prep and he has been prepared for his return to the races with two trials. The trials looked poor to me and interesting to note synthetic hoof filler has been applied for the first time. Potentially the colt has some hoof issues at the moment.
