Have no real knock on the favourite RANTAN who has trialled well, but happy to risk her on debut at her short price. This race is full of runners who have looked good at the trials so given the liability to lay the favourite isn't a lot, I think anything below the $2 mark isn't worth the risk.
Newcastle: Race 5; #2 Invincible Whip 
INVINCIBLE WHIP resumes here today, in a small field he has a tricky race map to navigate through even with the small field. His 2 recent trials weren't overly outstanding to the eye so I am imagining that he will have improvement to come deeper into the prep over a bit more ground.
Ran okay behind a smart one last start and although this is an easier race I am respecting Orman electing to ride the fave Lubrication rather than sticking with Tellez for this race.
GREYHOUNDS
The Meadows: Race 9; #2 Big Smoke Fox
Big Smoke Fox has won 2 from 33 but will go close to starting favourite here so I'm prepared to take him on. The fact he has run over these distances before will mean he is over bet and the times he runs are only steady. He has only raced once at The Meadows. There are enough reasons to take him on.
The Meadows: Race 10; #1 Kimiko
There is enough depth to this event to take on Kimiko. Big Yeti is well drawn close to the rails and could be vying for a similar run with Kimiko in the early and middle stages. Lakeview Vincent has been racing well and Box 8 suits. Kimiko hasn't won a race since June last year.
