To open proceedings at Caulfield, Bridal Waltz has been back to win her debut in the Catanach's Jewellers 2YO Handicap (1100m).
The filly has won two of her jumpouts and has firmed from $9.00 into $5.00. Support for the daughter of Snitzel includes one bet of $2000 @ $5.00.
Tanglewood has been the best backed runner at the Gosford meeting transferred to Newcastle.
The Todd Howlett-trained runner contests the TAB Highway Handicap (1200m).
He has firmed from $4.80 into $2.50 with bets for the gelding including a $2250 wager at $3.60.
Later in the program, the Team Hawkes-trained Semillion has had his odds more than halved from $11 into $4.40 for the Listed Takeover Target Stakes (1200m).
