A Group 2, two Group 3's and three Listed races grace the Sunshine Coast turf this Saturday with full fields and plenty of value on offer at tab.com.au

We try to open the floodgates early with out best bet coming in the opening event, whilst we have to wait until the second-last (and bank on one more scratching) for our best each-way commodity.

Race 1 - Leapfrogger Benchmark 85 Handicap (1200m) @ 12.33pm

Great contest to kick off a quality nine-race card. You'd love to own a stable full of horses like the well-related Pereille (4) who has only missed a drum once in 15 career outings including never missing the frame in 12 starts over this trip. First-up here but has tuned up for this with two solid Sydney trials and J Mac reunites. Should be playing a major role in the outcome. Midnight In Tokyo (7) is another resuming but was in red-hot form prior to the spell and has a handy fresh record. Draws the inside marble and should be in this for a long way. Standing Order (10) is one from one over this track and trip and is expected to settle on speed. Can give a sight. Ang Pow (9) is a bit of a hit or miss type but may feature if he brings his A-game. Lost In Transit (5) loves it here on his home circuit and cannot be ignored.

Tip: Backing Pereille @ $2.90 with TAB

Race 2 - PFD Foodservices Gold Coast Cup (2400m) @ 1.08pm

Bois D'Argent (1) has been plying his trade at Group and Listed level of late and should appreciate the drop back in grade here. Has placed over this course and distance and will be near his peak now fourth-up from the break. Looks very well placed by the Neasham camp. Stablemate Regal Lion (2) has returned to a semblance of form at the past couple and Allen sticks in the irons following that last start runner-up finish. Looms as the main danger. Bonny Ezra (5) has just missed the placings recently and will be rock-hard fit for this. Top-three credentials on best form. Red Wave (8) rarely runs a bad race and is a must for the multiples. Rattle And Hum (7) next cab off the rank from the inside alley.

Tip: Backing Bois D'Argent @ $3.10 with TAB

Race 3 - Attwood Marshall Lawyers Silk Stocking (1400m) @ 1.43pm

Tojaki (11) loves it here on her home circuit boasting two wins from as many outings and absolutely put them to the sword over this trip at Eagle Farm last time out. Has four wins and a second from just five attempts at the trip and could be one to go onto bigger and brighter things. Rates the leading contender. Party For One (6) brings solid Victorian form to the table and draws low for Berry in gate two. Looks a serious threat. Overriding (2) is a consistent conveyance who rarely puts in a poor performance. Top-three commodity. Sonora (10) has won two of her past three and gets the services of Thornton in the saddle from the Gollan barn. In the mix. Crazy Train (12) is usually thereabouts and may earn some minor money again.

Tip: Backing Tojaki @ $3.20 with TAB

Race 4 - TAB Ken Russell Memorial Classic (1200m) @ 2.18pm

The $200,000 Group 3 Ken Russell Memorial for the babies. Perspiration (2) didn't work up a sweat at Mornington last time out saluting in dominant fashion and will have derived a stack of confidence from that arrogant victory. Gets Zahra on from the favourable draw and should be giving them something to think about. Balastier (9) was disappointing behind Spywire on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. Returned in impressive order with a strong Ipswich win and may have turned the corner now. Should be involved in the outcome. Froebel Star (14) just got the job done at Warwick Farm last month and has since been given a recent trial there. Ready for this challenge. Althoff (8) gets the deadly J Mac/Waller combination and cannot be discounted. Imperial Force (6) next best in a race with plenty of hopes.

Tip: Backing Perspiration @ $3.90 with TAB

Race 5 - Australian Turf Club Trophy (1200m) @ 2.53pm

Millane (14) gets in well at the weights here. Absolutely savaged the line late at Eagle Farm at the latest effort and looks ready to go on with the job now. Drawn to get a suck run for Dee from gate three and rates the testing material. Yellow Brick (4) is the class galloper of the field but we haven't seen him since failing in the Silver Eagle last spring. Could be saluting if anywhere near his best Freedom Rally (7) resumes but the form shown last campaign was full of merit. May run a race while fresh. The Big Goodbye (1) has the big weight to contend with but always has to be included. Nettuno (6) strips fitter second-up from the break and can fill the frame.

Tip: Backing Millane each-way @ $5.00 and $2.00 with TAB

Race 6 - Brandons Electrical Gold Coast Guineas (1200m) @ 3.32pm

The $200,000 Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas. Corniche (3) is a consistent performer who is yet to miss the top-five in eight outings to date, mostly at Group and Listed level. Will be at his peak now fourth-up and gets J Mac on top to navigate from the sticky alley. Deserves another win. Roll On High (14) hasn't been too far off them in quality affairs down south and is sure to be primed to the minute from the Moody/Coleman camp. Respect. Celui (4) led them a merry dance at Caulfield and will take a lot from that victory. Solid winning claims. Stefi Magnetica (12) placed at Group 1 level before the spell and has definite top-three hopes if back in good order. Xidaki (6) draws the inside marble and may take that next step now.

Tip: Backing Corniche @ $4.80 with TAB

Race 7 - TAB A.D. Hollindale Stakes (1800m) @ 4.08pm

The $500,000 Group 2 Hollindale Stakes. Huetor (2) couldn't have been more impressive taking out the JRA Plate at Randwick last time out when making up a stack of ground late. Will have come on now and gets Berry on board third-up. Has placed over this track and trip and should be right there at the business end. Mighty Ulysses (8) is a bit of a hit or miss type but is certainly capable on his day. Has to be included. Just Folk (5) is on the quick back-up but doesn't mind that and the extra furlong will suit. Should be very competitive once again. Kovalica (4) is a quality animal looking to regain his best form. Worth another chance. Numerian (1) next best.

Tip: Backing Huetor @ $3.60 with TAB

Race 8 - Channel 7 Gold Coast Bracelet (1800m) @ 4.55pm

Looks a wide open affair. Former Kiwi Firestorm (18) has shown plenty of ability since arriving on our shores including placing at Listed level at Eagle Farm last time out. Will be ready to rumble now fourth-up and gets J Mac on from the inside stall. The step-up to the 1800m looks ideal and should be featuring in the finish. Waikato Girl (6) won that Listed race last time out and the red-hot Duric sticks in the stirrups. Cannot be discounted from the favourable draw. Amazonian Lass (3) is a quality filly who has competed at the highest level and rarely disgraces herself. Strips fitter second-up and shouldn't be underestimated. Redbreast (19) looks to have plenty of upside and may make her presence felt in this grade. Mare Of Mt Buller (11) next in line in a race with plenty of hopefuls.

Tip: Backing Firestorm each-way @ $5.00 and $1.85 with TAB

Race 9 - XXXX Bat Out Of Hell (1000m) @ 5.30pm

They'll go like the clappers in this. All That Pizzazz (1) loves this sprint trip with four wins and two seconds from just eight attempts and returned in fine fashion with a close-up second at Listed level at Eagle Farm. Has a handy second-up record and this is a slightly easier contest. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. Steady Ready (11) is yet to miss a drum in four first-up efforts and is drawn to get a cosy run for Graham from gate three. Rates highly. Hidden Wealth (16) has only missed the top-four once in nine career starts and should be high on confidence following that last start victory. Top-three credentials. Hardware Lane (10) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is one for the exotics players. Goldsborough (7) grows a leg first-up and any market confidence should be noted.

Tip: Backing All That Pizzazz @ $4.40 with TAB
