ROSEHILL June 18
Inside Grass; Heavy 8
12 Heats – 2 x 1030m (2 Open); 10 x 900m (1 Open; 6 2YO; 1 3YO; 1 Maiden)
Godolphin's star mare SAVATIANO was the class act on show but the more notable wins came from members of the Bjorn Baker stable.
Baker's team won four heats with the unraced 2YO pair SIR CRACKLE and RUPERTAAR certain to be in most blackbooks!
SIR CRACKLE (Bjorn Baker): This Choisir gelding won his first trial in February and this performance underlined his natural talent. Led with ease and Jason Collett was a passenger over the last 400m as he stretched out for a soft 5.25 lengths win in good time (55.43; 35.78) with plenty in hand.

RUPERTAAR (Bjorn Baker): This Winning Rupert filly went into our trial file when she won a Gosford heat in February. This was her fourth trial and she is ready to make an impact on debut after cruising through her gears for an impressive 5.5 lengths win in the fastest 2YO heat over 900m (54.90; 35.41).
Bjorn Baker also won 900m heats with his quality grey FROSTY ROCKS (55.24; 35.36) and another nice 2YO prospect I AM SINGLE (55.71; 35.86) holding off YULONG TURBO, a good type who won in Adelaide earlier in the season for the Lindsay Park stable and is now with Chris Waller.
"Savatiano's in her own little trial here."

Easy work for classy @godolphin mare Savatiano as she leads all the way to in a 900m trial at @rosehillgardens on Friday. Perigord and Private Agent filled the placings. @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/NC6WnGTGms
SAVATIANO dominated her trial but she was never under pressure in a slowly run heat (56.55; 35.53) with no intent from her rivals to run her down. Among those having very easy trials behind her were SAFE LANDING and DREAM CIRCLE.
The fast runner SUPERBELLAA was all speed winning the quickest 900m heat (54.79; 35.99) with COBIA taking plenty of ground off her in the last 1000m but note the slow closing sectional. The winner has limited prospects beyond 1000m.

HAWKESBURY June 15
Inside Grass; Soft 5
19 Heats – 2 x 1250m (2 Open); 5 x 1000m (2 Open; 2 2YO; 1 Maiden); 12x 800m (2 Open; 7 2YO; 3 Maiden)
A good morning for local trainer Matthew Vella with three sharp heat winners while an unraced newcomer produced a classy debut trial win in fast time.
LOVICK (Mattthew Vella): Impressive first trial from this 2YO gelding by Hinchbrook. Jumped to the lead in his 800m heat and travelled sweetly until Rachel King asked him for an effort at the 500m where he quickly put several lengths on the chasers. Kept running for a soft win by more than seven lengths, putting the fastest 2YO time on the board for the distance (47.31; 33.23).
Runaway win for Hinchinbrook 2yo Lovick at his first trial appearance at @hawkesburyrc on Tuesday. The Matt Vella @GlennHavenR trained gelding ran 33.23 for his last 600m and won by 7 lengths from Pinball and Ascetic. @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/tA6sAOWF5z

SILENT TRYST (Matthew Vella): This Sebring filly has won two of her six starts and looks set to build on that record after a sharp first-up trial win over 1000m. Sat outside the lead before extending easily to run away a soft win in the fastest 1000m heat (60.77; 34.03).
TOCOMAH (Garry Frazer): Veteran local trainer produced a real runner in this racy unraced 3YO gelding by Toronado. Showed natural speed to lead and cruise away under a kind ride from Rachel King to score by 4.35 lengths while running very quick closing sectionals in the fastest 800m heat (46.16; 32.54). Note he was the only 800m heat winner to go under 47 seconds by a long way.
Matt Vella also won an 800m heat with a good maiden prospect ROAM FREE (47.83; 33.87). Other good 800m heat winners included the Claire Lever-trained COOL SHE IS (47.33; 33.08), showing she has the speed to make her a solid provincial maiden chance, and the Bjorn Baker-trained SANTA STAR, another Hinchinbrook 2YO gelding winning his third trial with the good speed (47.42; 33.67)..
Unraced Maurice filly MISS LENORR improved on her first trial to record a smart win in the only 2YO heat over 1000m (60.90; 35.12)
