TRIAL POINTERS

WYONG March 4: Local filly JAMAKIN MONEY added to her reputation as a trial star with another fast heat win over 845m (50.18; 34.03) in her first appearance since a similar performance in September. She raced once 12 months ago and has had obvious problems but she will certainly win a maiden when she returns to racing. Talented city winners GARZA BLANCA and ATTRACTABLE were too classy for their rivals in their heats

ROSEHILL March 1: Unraced Deep Field 3YO BUNDELLA has now won two trials in the style of a classy young prospect. Showed he had trained on well from his first trial win at Rosehill on February 15 to easily run down a tearaway leader under a soft ride in the fastest 900m heat (54.21; 34.98), setting him up for a bold debut. Other smart heat winners over 900m included stablemate AGENDA SETTER (55.43; 34.97) and FLYING CRAZY (54.72; 34.33).

HAWKESBURY February 27: Bjorn Baker and the Waterhouse/Bott stable dominated the 2YO and maiden heats. Baker's best included the fast heat winner HEZDARNHOTTOO while HALLET took the eye with a strong placing for Waterhouse and Bott. HEZDARNHOTTOO, an unraced Too Darn Hot youngster, impressed winning his 800m heat (47.25; 32.94). He was very sharp sprinting hard to the line over the last 200m. Team Snowden's LAVISH EMPIRE has been freshened since his successful visit to the Gold Coast in January. He put in impressive work closing strongly from the rear for a close second in his 1000m heat (60.13; 34.12). He was never put under pressure and looks in good order to continue his rise through the grades. James Cummings sent out a strong team of Godolphin runners, winning heats with PINITO, ZEITUNG and PORTRAY.

ROSEHILL February 15: Unraced Harry Angel colt CASSIEL has been in the blackbook since an early trial win last year and the wait for his debut will be worthwhile. Worked well within himself to win his 900m heat in fast time (53.96; 34.13) by almost two lengths, making it three wins and second from his four trial appearances since last July.

ROSEHILL December 18 : The better 2YO heat over 900m was won in good style by LILAC (53.91; 34.85), a Justify filly who responded well after soaking up the pressure in a fast run heat sitting outside the leader.

ROSEHILL November 6: Unraced 3YO CASSIEL is a natural runner and will be well fancied on debut after winning two of his three trials since July. Showed a good change of gears to extend at the right time and cruise to a soft win in his 1030m heat (63.19; 35.97).

ROSEHILL October 3: The quickest 2YO heat winner over 900m was SHIVERMEPINK (54.70; 35.05), a Zoustar filly from the Waterhouse/Bott youngster who improved on her placing at the Randwick trials.

WYONG September 18: Lightly raced maiden JAMAKIN MONEY was impressive clocking the fastest 845m heat win (50.05; 33.85).

WYONG July 10: In the shorter 845m heats a dominant win by the unraced DIVINE BENE (51.08; 34.90) augers well for her debut.

RANDWICK June 30: The 2YO heats saw several handy trials from likely types for midweek and provincial events. The quickest 1040m heat was won by STAR BLAZER (63.46; 35.08).
