To Fast To Serious back with Egerton-Green

Talented pacer To Fast To Serious is back in the care of Dylan Egerton-Green, following a stint with Belinda McCarthy in New South Wales.

Egerton-Green took To Fast To Serious to Melbourne for the 2022 Inter Dominion series, where he finished fourth in the consolation.

He then went on to win one of his six starts for Mccarthy .

Egerton-Green said he was pleased to have the gelding back in his care.

"Yesterday was his first day back in work," Egerton-Green told The Trots WA.

"He's been back in Perth for six weeks and I picked him up on Monday.

"It's good to get him back and I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes."

Prior to his trip to Melbourne, To Fast To Serious won a Free-For-All at Gloucester Park and placed in the Group 2 Navy Cup and Group 2 RWWA Cup.

Egerton-Green said he hoped the eight-year-old would be able to get back to his best form this campaign.

"He's at Free-For-All level, so he has to race the best horses," he said.

"He looks good and looks to have done well off his spell.

"We don't have any real set plans for him, but hopefully he will be back ready to race in the next 12 weeks."

As well as having chances in the open class ranks, Egerton-Green looks well placed to have strong representation in early two-year-old feature races.

Egerton-Green had Stella Deliziosa and Captain Stirling win trials at Pinjarra last week and the pair are being aimed at next month's Sales Classic (1730m).

Egerton-Green said he "couldn't complain" with either pacer so far.
