Race-by-race preview of Gloucester Park, Friday April 19.

Race 1: DOWNLOAD THE TABTOUCH APP MS PACE

LOUCID DREAMS (5) is racing well and looks close to a win after placing in two of his last three starts, the latest when third in a higher-graded race at this circuit. Draws wider but finds a winnable assignment. FEELING ACES (10) was a solid fourth at Northam last time and had been tackling stronger races at this venue before that. Drawn for a trail and if the gaps come could prove dangerous. THE KRAKEN (1) has been coming from wide or second row barriers of late so expect big improvement from the ace draw. FLY TO FAME (9) was down the track in the Westbred 4M Classic last week but the prior form was consistent so could bounce back.

Race 2: YOU'VE GOT THE TOUCH WITH TABTOUCH MS PACE

MAGNUS VICTOR (2) has returned to racing in fine order with two wins and a second in three starts so far this campaign, all of them from wider barriers. Led to score by 1.5m at Bunbury last start so has the gate speed to take full advantage of the low draw. STATE OF HEAVEN (1) is close to a win after placing in three of his last four starts at this circuit, last time coming from this same barrier for a 2.5m third. Big chance to break through. IDEAL TOMADO (3) is another in good form having led to score here two back before a 2.2m third last week when off this same draw. Right in contention. BRICKIES DREAM (10) has produced two solid efforts since a fresh win and is drawn for a trail. Contender if the gaps come.

Race 3: TABTOUCH PLACE A SAME RACE MULTI MS PACE

COWBOYS N BANDITS (1) has led from wider barriers at his last two starts, scoring by 4m here two back before stepping up to this grade to place last time. Has the speed to take full advantage of the ace draw and that should see him hard to catch. EL CHEMA (11) hasn't been far away of late. Draws on the back row but came from there when beaten only 3.7m last week. Can be in the finish again. WITHOUTTHETUH (6) is back from a seven-week let-up but clocked in fourth in a higher-graded race when last seen. He can play a role in this line-up. OCTOBER REIGN (3) must be respected after placing from this same barrier last week.

Race 4: TABTOUCH SCAN MY BET MS PACE

FASTER THAN DAD (1) hasn't raced since tackling stronger company at FFA level last November but he flies fresh with four wins and two placings from six attempts and will be ready to go off three trials. The ace draw gives him every chance for another first-up win. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (10) is drawn to trail Faster Than Dad and that should suit as he has been coming from wider barriers on the front row of late, including when edged out by a nose as runner up two back. He could be dangerous if the gaps come. Prepared to forgive the latest result of LETS GET ROCKIN (9) when held up for a clear run. Had recorded two wins and a placing from his previous four starts so could bounce back with some luck from the wide barrier. JETT STAR (7) was a fresh winner here three back and there was merit in last week's fourth from a similar barrier to this. Include.

Race 5: TABTOUCH EMPRESS STAKES (G2) MS PACE

AARDIEBYTHESEASIDE (1) is a newcomer from NZ to the Bond yard and gets the ideal draw for her local debut. She is top class having last raced when taking out the G1 NZ Oaks at Addington last December. Proven fresh and readied with a solid trial so can kick off with a win. STENO (4) drew wide and led before fading to midfield as a hot favourite last week but she was flying before that, winning six in a row. A lower draw can see her return to that form. TURN THE PAGE (6) is going well with two wins and a placing form three starts this time in, coming from a 10m handicap for a narrow win last time. Building a strong record at this circuit so deserves respect along with NULLARBOR NAVAJO (12) who was a G3 winner here two back before a 2.7m third from a similar draw to this last start.

Race 6: TABTOUCH PARLIAMENTARIAN'S CUP NULLARBOR CONSOLATION FFA MS PACE

TENZING BROMAC (10) has clearly returned in good order, drawing wide and working when a fresh winner here two back before going under by just a head as runner up in a G3 last start. Draws on the back row but should enjoy a trail and his third-up record is strong so should be hitting his peak. Big chance with even luck. DIEGO (5) found winning form last week when he took full advantage of the ace draw to lead and win by 2.2m. Draws a few spots wider but has the pace to get across and is race fit now so could go right on with it. PINNY TIGER (8) has put together a string of wins and placings. Scored from a similar barrier here two back before coming from the second line to finish runner up in the Bunbury Cup last start. Major player. Last-start placegetter ARMA EINSTEIN (1) is ticking along well and gets every chance from the ace draw.

Hot And Treacherous.
Hot And Treacherous.

Race 7: TABTOUCH THE NULLARBOR (G1) MS PACE

HOT AND TREACHEROUS (3) brings strong form from Sydney having won twice in a row at Menangle before finishing runner up last start when he was the victim of a sit-and-sprint affair over a mile. That will have topped him off and he looks better suited in what should be a more of a staying test. With a good draw and abundant gate speed he should be pushing for the lead and will be strong late. This could pan out well for former Miracle Mile winner CATCH A WAVE (4). He was good from the second row last week but draws better and with speed inside him looks to land in the right spot to unleash a late sprint. That sees him as a danger. SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS (1) has been a reliable performer at the top level and will be burning early to try to take advantage of the ace draw. If he can hold them out in that early battle he could take catching. JUMPINGJACKMAC (5) has had terrible draws since his Bunbury Cup win but placed from this draw in this race last year so is worth a spot in the exotics.

Race 8: TABTOUCH SHARE MY BET 4YO+ MS PACE

MISTER SMARTEE (1) is a highly progressive gelding who was impressive in winning his two starts from wide draws so far this campaign, last time racing wide early before finding the front and drawing away to cruise home by nearly 18m. He'll be race fit, is building an impressive record and is beautifully served by the ace draw. Hard to tip against him. MIKI JET (3) is tough to knock having won his last four starts to maintain an unbeaten record at this circuit. Takes on a smart one but is drawn to be in the money again. FRANCO ECUADOR (4) was edged out as a hot favourite last start but is yet to miss the top two this time in so respect. SOLESSEO MATUCA (6) draws wider than in the last-start win but is going well.

Race 9: TABTOUCH SUPPORTS GLOUCESTER PARK SS PACE

IM THE BLACK FLASH (8) sat parked in a resuming second to race rival Skylou at G3 level then progressed for a 3.4m win at this circuit last time. Talented and is yet to miss a place at this distance. Can go back to back. WA Derby winner SKYLOU (6) was off his game last start but is much better than that having led to beat Im The Black Flash here when resuming two back. His circuit and distance statistics are strong and he deserves another chance. VANDERBILT (5) faces a tougher test tonight but he is progressing rapidly having won five in a row and won his only previous third-up attempt. CARANA (9) owns good records at the venue and distance and has won three of five fresh attempts so should be kept safe.

Race 10: TABTOUCH INTERNATIONAL FORM MS PACE

SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (6) was a beaten favourite last time when midfield after working but his effort two back was terrific when he raced three wide without cover before recording a strong win at Narrogin. Finds a suitable assignment so deserves another chance. POCKETFUL OF OPALS (3) will find this easier than last week's attempt in the Westbred 4M Classic. She draws closer to the pegs and has claims off a second from the back row here last month. YOU FLY WITH ME (1) gets the ace draw for his return and has won fresh before so can open the campaign with a positive effort. NAME IN LIGHTS (2) was an improver last start has drawn to advantage so respect.

Race 11: TABTOUCH SKY RACING WITH RACE REPLAYS 3YO FILLIES MS PACE

Star filly WATER LOU (8) comes off a fourth successive win at this circuit when she led to cruise home by more than 8m in the Gold Bullion 3F Final last time out. Has to overcome a wide barrier tonight but looks a class above these rivals. PRINCESS KATIE (2) has chased Water Lou home at her last two, finishing runner up two back and fourth in the Gold Bullion Final. Has plenty of ground to make up on that rival but does at least draw lower than her tonight. MISS HEPBURN (7) is building in fitness having come from back row draws to finish runner up in both starts this time in. GRAND COUTEAU (6) is next in line.
