THOROUGHBREDS

Mornington: Race 6; #5 Riproar 

Riproar can win but is too short for me. His first-up rating was strong at Geelong but that was on a heavy track and now he goes straight from 1340m to the mile against some strong competition. 

Grid Girl is equal favourite in my market. She won well first-up in Australia before running super second-up in the inferior ground on the back of a very fast early tempo. She was ridden poorly last start at Pakenham and still got the job done, the mile suits.

Eagle Farm: Race 6; #10 Outlawed  

Second attempt up to this distance after trying as a younger horse and I am doubtful it will be suitable for a consistent horse that appears better placed over 1200m.

Randwick: Race 9; #12 Jimmysstar 

JIMMYSSTAR had Doncaster ambitions but didn't head there in the end. He looks a type with good potential but resuming here may prove tricky. He is drawn wide which may make his job tough and especially if he is out the back.
