The son of Royal Dream came into the event with solid form winning the G3 Prix Jean Dumouch (2850m) and the G3 Prix du Forez (2700m). He travelled close to the pace and took up the running inside the final 1000m, where Jean-Michel Bazire injected a fair rise in pace turning for home. She ran close to the leader throughout, stalking the pace setter and stablemate, Holly Go Lightly for most of the journey. Despite Usain Töll only having his fourth French start, he continued to maintain his progressive profile posting a tenth career victory. Adrien Lamy had to stay calm as he was sandwiched on the inside next to the pegs turning for home, however the six-year-old gelding manoeuvred around rivals and found the gaps for a clear run on the grandstand side to produce a powerful late surge. It will be interesting where he races in the coming months and could be a name to keep in mind for the final weeks of the Vincennes winter meeting.

The seven-year-old mare handles many different conditions that includes some good form on grass. She can show her quality on the big stage too, as proven on Sunday, flying on the outside to put a nose in front on the line. This was the richest race she has won to date.
