Here are our best bets across the three cards.

Tokyo Race 11 - #6 Killer Ability 

This son of Deep Impact last appeared when a creditable sixth in the Japanese Derby in May, getting a long way back before passing half the field in the straight. He stamped himself as a colt of real quality when he took out the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes over 2000m at Nakayama last December.
This is not a particularly strong Grade 2 race. Aside from our selection, the runners have contested a total of 82 races at this level or higher for only two wins. From an ideal gate jockey Cristian Demuro will position just behind the leading division and from that point should have too much class.

Heat On Beat finished fourth in the Tenno Sho in May and is a five-time placegetter at stakes level. He resumes today and has been in the money at five of six first-up runs. Can run a big race. 

Hanshin Race 10 - #6 Kimiwa Queen 

Talented filly resuming from a break. Has started six times in her career, three of which have been in stakes grade including a 10th in the Grade 1 Juvenile Fillies Stakes here when tested to a mile. Outside of stakes class she remains unbeaten though, including a last start win this trip before a break. Two of her wins have been fresh and she looks well placed to build on that record this time.

Mon Favori is a consistent type who was a close up fourth in similar class to this last time. Her best form is at the trip and off the inside draw looks a big danger.

Hanshin Race 12 - #4 Rouge Stiria  

Promising filly coming off an impressive fresh up win. Has raced just four times for two wins and two unplaced runs in Grade 2 company. Returning from a break she stalked the pace and kept coming to score narrowly over a mile in a race that has already produced three subsequent winners.Today she strip fitter, drawn for the run of the race and looks hard to beat again.

The main threat is the unbeaten Danon Timpani. After winning his first three with ease on the easier circuit he stepped up to an allowance race at Tokyo and was too good again. He will give a big sight again.

Fukushima Dirt Race 1 - #5 Cosmo Ballata 

Colt with ability and looks set to get off the mark. Has placed three of four starts, the latest when second over 2000m on the turf. First try on the dirt today but figures clearly ahead of his moderate rivals. Should be opening winning account.

Mr King led and folded up in a tougher race on debut but expecting a much better run this time.
