Just the three meetings install for Japan on Wednesday with racing at Himeji, Nagoya & Urawa. The 1400m Conditions event at Urawa is the highlight for the day's action where the three-year-old fillies will face-off for over $200 000 AUD. We've done the form and picked our best bet from each card.

Himeji Race 1 - #10 Dream Episode

Looking to get off the mark early at Himeji where we are relying on leading rider Tomohiro Yoshimura to salute in the opener. The hoop continues to ride at an elite standard, shouldering a winning strike rate of 30% from his last 350 engagements. Reuniting with Dream Episode, Yoshimura will be hoping to improve his mount after he was beaten a head over the track and trip last start. Resilience AI looks the immediate threat and will be eager to atone her disappointing recent performance. Expecting Dream Episode to prove too strong for them in the run home.

Nagoya Race 11 - #4 Koei Souschef

Keen on Koei Souschef to get the job done for us at Nagoya. The eight-year-old followed up his solid win two back with a game placing last time here over 1700m. Drops back in trip this time and boasts a handy record at this venue, only missing the frame twice from eight starts. Aoi Suisei is sure to be competitive but does have a wide alley to overcome. I'm anticipating in-form jockey Soichi Kato will be able to land a stalking position from barrier four and be ready to launch over the concluding stages.

Urawa Race 7 - #10 Summer Boy

It what looks an exciting contest between Jun Tsubasa Nisei and Summer Boy who are both in good form, we have landed on the latter. Summer Boy has returned in near career best form this preparation, scoring fresh and backing up with a solid minor placing last start. Steps back out to a winning trip and one that he boasts a terrific record over. The wide alley raises some queries but he strips fitter and is a third-up winner. Sure to be getting involved at the business end.
