(7) BEST WHIZ will be hot favourite in the opener. Yet to finish outside of the top-five in four starts, his best is a 2nd place over 1200M in January when racing on pace. His latest was only fair when 5th of eleven over 1200M but in this limited company, he should be on pace and should win. (5) MK LEE has hinted at ability across three starts so far with his best being his 4th place on debut. CC climbs up here and he has as good a chance as any of running 2nd. (8) RAON THE KLAMMER comes in off an improved 5th over this distance on April 13th and in this company, a similar performance will see him very much challenging for the places. (1) FLYING LION and (6) CALIPH other minor money hopes.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(3) BEAUTIFUL HWASEONG will be hot favourite. He has shown steady improvement across his six starts to date, culminating in a 3rd place over this distance on March 24th when slowly away from this widest gate and then settling right back before running on. Drawn much better today, he is the one to beat. (4) P N S CAR is the only other one with a top-three finish on his resume, achieved two starts back when 2nd at this distance. An apprentice claims 4kg and that's enough to make him the danger here. (6) CLOUD HEART was an improved 4th behind Beautiful Hwaseong in that March 24th race and can get close again. First time starter (10) BRIGHT QUEEN improved for a good 2nd in the latter of two trials and can be considered first-up. (7) GANGCHEOL DRAGON another place chance.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

We need to discard the latest effort of every single runner here if we are to give any of them a chance. We'll go with (6) NEVER GIVE UP, who has a 2nd place on his record over this distance and races for the first time since a chastening experience at a mile in January. He looked well when trialling in April and if he brings that form to the races, he can win. (1) CHOEGANG CHONGAL has a 3rd place to his name at this distance back on March 15th and notwithstanding his last start 8th, that's enough to make him the danger. (3) GREEN BULLDOZER has been back to trial since his latest start and performed adequately. She also has a 3rd place over 1200M and from a good draw should be on pace here. (8) SUPER KANEL and (4) BIG BOY are other place chances.

Seoul Race 3: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(9) SOLAIRE enters having scored his maiden win at start number six over this distance on April 13th. He comes up in class but is down in weight and there is little to fear here. (4) MACALLAN was a winner on debut last August and then ran fairly for 5th place last September. He offered few clues in a March trial, but Franco's booking is a plus and he may surprise on his return. (2) JAEWOO SIDAE is yet to win in twenty-two attempts, but she was 2nd in a similar class and distance race two starts back and this is the kind of race she can find the money in. (7) HANGANG GLORY and (8) BOSS BABY are others who can be considered for the minor money.

Busan Race 2: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies and mares only here and it's competitive. (7) BORAM enters having led every step of the way to get her maiden win at the sixth time of asking over 1300M on April 12th. She comes up in class here but looks nicely in and she can repeat. (10) DYNAMIC WINNER has been a consistent type and enters off a fair 5th place at 1300M on April 7th when beating a couple of today's rivals. She has a strong finish so the wide draw shouldn't be a problem, and she can be in contention here. (6) SANGIM STAR is another who usually runs a decent race and comes in having finished 4th in a similar race at class and distance on April 26th with two of these behind her. She likes to come off the pace and she has the joint fastest time of any of these for the distance. The form drops off rapidly after those three with (3) ROAD STAR and (9) TWO TWO LIME possibly the best of a limited rest.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies only here. (7) DREAM SKY gets the verdict, having won at class and distance on April 20th when settling midfield and proving too strong. She comes up 3kg in the weights, but CC remains aboard, and she can go back-to-back. (6) ROYAL PLUS is up in class having won at start number four over 1200M on March 23rd. She led every step of the way, and she comes down in weights and Franco climbs on. She should be competitive here. (5) SONE SONJABGO broke through at start number two over this distance on March 31st, racing handy and running on. She has plenty of potential for further development and can measure up here. (8) RAON THE SIDAE and (2) YEJIMONG are others who can enter the calculations.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(1) ROAD TO WARRIOR got his maiden win at start number two over this distance in February before almost leading all the way on his first try at this class at 1400M on April 7th, ultimately finishing 3rd. He should have come on for that experience, he draws well to lead again, and he is the one to beat here. That will mean overturning the form on (3) HERO J, who ran 2nd in that April 7th race. Yet to win in eleven, he is very consistent with no fewer than nine top-four finishes and he will surely be in the mix again. (6) FLYING THE LUCKY had a hard time at 1800M to the extent he was sent back to trial. He came through that in good order and back in trip can be given another chance today. (2) OVER ENERGY and (7) BLUE CAPTAIN also can be forgiven their respective latest appearances and are others in the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1700M0 Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(1) SEIRENE was well back all the way around last time out in the Luna Stakes at Busan, the first leg of the Triple Tiara. She remains a maiden, but she has shown plenty of ability and was 4th at this class and distance in February. She has had six weeks off so comes in relatively fresh and from a good draw, today can be her day. (2) SEOBU CHAMP is a winner already, having broken through at the fourth time of asking over 1400M on April 14th. She carries a light weight and the step up to two turns can suit. (8) BIG SMART returned from six months off to run a solid 3rd place at this class over 1400M on April 14th. She should strip fitter for that run and be a danger again. (9) POWER ETCHED and (4) YONGBI POWER among plenty of placing chances.

Busan Race 4: Class 5 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(2) FLYING DIA has won her latest two, most recently at this class over 1400M. She has won at a mile too and while her times haven't been hugely quick, she only comes up 1.5kg in the weights, she draws well, and a hat-trick isn't out of the question. (8) HERE THE QUEEN was 4th behind Flying Dia two starts back before running 2nd over 1200M on April 12th. She has a smart finish on her, Tanaka climbs on, and she can be a danger late here. (3) COLONEL FLYING beat a couple of these on his way to 5th place over 1800M on April 5th and while he carries his fair share of weight, he is a winner already at this distance. (12) GIANT MARINE and (9) UNJU OREUM among others who could have a say.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(6) RAON SPRINTER comes rapidly up in class having wo his latest two, both over this distance and both in decent times. This is tougher but he comes in under a light weight and draws nicely for Harry Kasim to pick his spot and he can win again. He probably won't be the betting favourite. (4) ARGO MUJEOK was a class and distance winner two starts back, before running a close 2nd in a very quick race last time out on April 20th. He carries his fair share of weight here; 6kg more than his last win but only 1kg more than that 2nd, but he can be a big threat. So too (7) FRESH MAN. He didn't run badly when down the field in a very competitive Trophy race at 1200M last month and he is a winner of three from seven, including at this class. Moon Se-young climbs up and he will have plenty of backers. (1) HWASUBOON and (3) ULTRA SOCKS other placing chances.

Busan Race 5: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(5) BUSAN TODAY will be favoured to complete a hat-trick here. She got her maiden win, leading all the way over 1300M in March and then repeated the trick at this distance on April 26th, winning by plenty. She comes up in class today and up to 1400M for the first time, but neither should be a problem, and she can win again. (8) NICE BIG GUY is yet to win but enters with recent form looking promising with a 4th and a 5th from his latest two at 1200M and 1400M, both in decent times. He has a smart finish on him and should be a danger at the business end of the race. (9) SINCHEON FIRST won at this distance on March 31st, racing close to the pace throughout. He is up in class but down in weight and can measure up. (2) PUNCHER and (10) AKARAKA other possibles for the minors.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

This is super competitive so anything you like should be at a decent price. (6) BROWN GOLD has done everything asked of him to win his latest two in fine style at 1700M. That brings him rapidly up to this class, but he carries a light weight, Harry remains aboard, and he can win again. (7) SMART CLAIR is up in class having won at this distance on March 24th when racing handy and running on. Moon Se-young remains on, and he can measure up at this level. (11) META BLADE has plenty of experience at this level and has placed at this distance in each of her latest two. She has the challenge of the widest gate but if Kim Yong-geun can find a decent position, she should be in the mix. (8) KING DIA and (1) GEUMSEONG MAN among plenty of others in the frame.

Busan Race 6: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

It's hard to look past (4) BORN DIA. Since returning from four months off, she has won both starts back, including her latest on April 19th when making all at this class and distance. She only comes up 1.5kg in the weights and third-up this preparation, she should still have plenty in the tank. (8) MAGARITA won one and was 2nd on three occasions among five starts last year. She hasn't raced since last October but looked in super shape when trialling up at the end of last month. She is up in class since we last saw here, but she is down in the weights and first-up shouldn't be a problem. (7) YEONGGWANGUI TANK enters off a 3rd place over 1400M at this class on April 26th and continuing under a light weight, should be close here. (6) MOTHER MOUNTAIN and (5) KING ANYDAY are the other placing chances.

Seoul Race 8: Class Open (1800M) Special Weight A / Korean Derby (KOR G1) / KRW 1 Billion

The second leg of the Triple Crown. (7) SUCCESS BAEKPA won the first jewel, the KRA Cup Mileto take his winning streak to four. Everything about his running style so far suggests that he can suit the step up in trip, and he can win again. (14) NICE TIME ran 2nd in the Cup Mile having led for much of the way around. That was just his second defeat and while he has the challenge of a wide gate to deal with, he is in with a real chance here. Turning to some longer shots, (2) MEGA DRAGON was an also-ran in Seoul's Classic Trial but has since won over a mile at class 4 level and then finished 2nd at 1800M at class 3. He may make for some each-way attraction along with (3) MY CENTER, who comes in off a smart win over a mile in a valuable Trophy race last month and accordingly has achieved the highest rating of any in the race. Turning back to this who will be fancied in the betting market (16) HANGANG CLASS and (4) LAST DRAGON will need to be considered.

Busan Race 7: Class 2 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(3) DUNCAN beat several of these on his way to victory at this class and distance on April 7th when he led all the way. He comes up 2.5kg in the weights here but he draws the same gate, and a repeat is not impossible. (5) GRAND SUN is up in class having won over this distance on March 22nd, settling midfield and running on. He has never missed the top five and down in the weights, he can measure up in this company. (2) I WILL BE FREE was 2nd behind Duncan in that April 7th race. He remains lightly weighted and from a good draw can sit handy and be in the finish again. (9) GALLANT WARRIOR and (11) YEOKJEON MYEONGSU among plenty of others in with placing claims.

Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

Two standouts here. (1) BEST TORCH returned from seven months out to win at class and distance on March 24th, settling just behind the leaders and proving too strong. He comes up 3.5kg in the weights but that's balanced a little by a good gate and second up he may be even more on his game. The main danger is (3) MIRACLE HANGANG won back-to-back races in January and February up to this class and distance and comes in having finished 3rd in a valuable trophy race a month ago, again at this distance. He has run quick times at a variety of trips and under a very light weight today, he should be dangerous. (8) JEDI has been working back into form across her latest three, most recently beating a few of these on her way to 3rd place at class and distance on April 7th and she can be in the mix again. (10) APEX and (7) MILLION PARTY others to consider.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(1) GEOLJAK CHOEGANG was a winner at class 4 level over 1200M on March 3rd. That was his maiden win at the seventh time of asking but it had been coming and while he is up in class and in distance, he has run well up to 1400M and he comes down significantly in the weights. (3) JANGSAN SPO has finished back in the pack in his latest two in tougher company than this. He is though a class and distance winner as recently as February and draws much better in weaker company today. (6) GEUMA FIERY beat a few of these on his way to victory at this class over 1500M on April 7th. He is up 3kg in the weights but can go close again. (2) POWER VICTORY and the up in class (5) BULTANEUN SIMJANG are others in the frame.
