We head to Ireland for our first wager and I'm expecting Warrior Brave to take some stopping in the Meadowview Stables Race (3.10) at Tipperary

The in-form five-year-old has proved a revelation since adopting prominent tactics and made it three wins from his last four outings with a dominant display to beat the 103-rated Carrytheone by over three lengths in a seven-furlong Naas conditions race.

Ross O'Sullivan's inmate should get this run to suit and a tight turning track over this trip will be right up his street. There looks to be little around in opposition for the early lead and he should be able to get to the front with ease from his good draw in stall three.

Ground conditions will pose no issue for this gelded son of Twilight Son and in all truth, he should be very hard to catch off the front end with plenty going in his favour this afternoon.

Selection: Warrior Brave – General 7/4

Jumps racing comes to the fore at Worcester for their six-race card and Peter Bowen may be able to continue his good run with Saxon Queen in the John Cordell Memorial Handicap Chase (2.45).

Consistency hasn't always been this daughter of Leading Light's strongest asset but it's hard to know her on that front so far this year. She backed up a handicap hurdle success at Newton Abbot in June with two second-place finishes over the smaller obstacles, including a good effort when going down by a head last-time-out.

Peter Bowen's charge doesn't always look like the most straightforward of conveyances under pressure and it's hardly surprising to see them reach for first-time cheekpieces. That headgear armed with the switch to chasing for the first time really could be the making of this mare and I'm expecting a bold bid off a mark of 80 on her first outing over fences.

Selection: Saxon Queen – General 3/1
