Moore, successful earlier on the card aboard Adelaide in the Grade 1 Secratariat Stakes, gave Euro Charline an ideal ride to land her first win in group/graded company.

Trained by Marco Botti for Team Valour Euro Charline had already been placed at the highest level, finishing third in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, but this was an important value-adding success.

She came through strongly under Moore to take it up as they straightened up and set for home and found plenty when it was required to hold out the favoured Stephanie's Kitten who had to come between horses.

Fellow UK visitor Just The Judge took third.

"She travelled real sweet and kicked on nicely like a good filly would," Moore said

"It's been a good day, not so bad so far."

The race was a Breeders' Cup challenge event, with the win guaranteeing Euro Charline a place in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Santa Anita Park later in the year.
