The Oka Sho (1000 Guineas) is usually the key to this race and for this 65th edition we have the winner and triple crown aspirant Stellenbosch as favourite on 2.5.  This daughter of Epiphaneia has 3 wins and two places from her five starts to date and will be ridden by Keita Tosaki.  Second favourite at this stage is Cervinia, by Harbinger, who will be ridden by Lemaire and they are on 5.9.  If you ignore her run in the Oka Sho she could be right up there.

Light Back is a Kizuna filly who was third in the Oka Sho and once she saw daylight she recorded the fastest last 600m for the race.  Sakai rides and they are on 8.3.  Queen's Walk is the other Kizuna product and she has recorded two wins from her first four starts.  Kawada has the ride and they are on 9.2.
