But sadly this year it is down to just four horses with two of them being even-money favourites. They are Emily Upjohn from the Gosdens with William Buick riding since Franke Dettori is on a stewards' "Holiday", and Paddington with Aidan O'Brien very positive and as usual Ryan Moore will be on board.
The two others in the race are Dubai Honour 10/1 for William Haggas and Tom Marquand and the Crisfords runner West Wind Blows 20/1 with Jamie Spencer riding.
Earlier there could be a chance to earn some money for the ice creams in the Coral Charge G3 over 1000m with 11 runners. Charlie Hills has a strong hand here with Equality on 7/1 and Equilateral 11/2 – William Buick and Jamie Spencer the jockeys, and Michael Appleby's Annaf will be partnered by Rossa Ryan – they were third in the King's Stand – on 5/1.
