A promising weather forecast suggests that racing will take place on a surface close to the good range with the rail out 4m the entire circuit.

We've run the rule over the form and provided our top selections in each race below.

RACE 1 - 12:33PM: Maiden Plate (800 METRES)

Tessatori (13) had no luck on debut at Doomben over 1110m.

The Chris Meagher-trained daughter of Territories was caught deep after drawing wide and was forced to work to find the front.

To her credit, she boxed on fairly to finish 3.5 lengths fourth.

Given the early speed she demonstrated, the drop back to 800m will suit and she's drawn to advantage for Melea Castle with a post stamp weight.

The two-year-old takes on older horses but none of them have set the world on fire so she looks to get her chance.

1 Unit – Tessatori (13)

  BET NOW: Ipswich Race 1

RACE 2 - 1:08PM: Class 3 Handicap (1680 METRES)

Kenyada (3) finished ninth by 3.5 lengths in the Listed Princess Stakes last start but she should have finished a lot closer.

The Chris Waller-trained filly was forced to settle a long way back after drawing wide and then had the misfortune of being held up in the straight.

Two starts back she gave a good account of herself in the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes when finishing fourth by 2.2 lengths so she will appreciate the drop in class.

Waller has booked his go-to-man in Queensland, Jimmy Orman to ride and the top jockey should give his mount every chance from barrier 4.

1 Unit – Kenyada (3)

  BET NOW: Ipswich Race 2

RACE 3 - 1:43PM: Maiden Handicap (1100 METRES)

Impendor (1) makes his return to racing looking to get that elusive first win after finishing runner-up in all three of his races last preparation.

The Matt Dunn-trained three-year-old gelding was last seen finishing a head second over 1200m Doomben and was unlucky to not win a protest against the winner.

Two starts back he went within a nose of beating Press Link who has since placed third in the Listed Daybreak Lover and Group 2 Queensland Guineas

A recent trial will have tuned him up nicely for this first-up assignment.

1 Unit – Impendor (1)

  BET NOW: Ipswich Race 3

RACE 4 - 2:18PM: QTIS Three-Year-Old BENCHMARK 65 Handicap (1100 METRES)

Cryptoshare (8) resumes for his second preparation and looks to have come back a more furnished horse.

The Chris Munce-trained gelding bolted in by 4.5 lengths on debut at the Sunshine Coast before dropping out to finish last in a Saturday three-year-old race.

He's warmed up for this first-up assignment with two trials, leading all the way to defeat Weigall Tiger in the first trial before impressively sitting three deep the trip and winning the second easily.

Justin Huxtable is back in the saddle and was aboard when he won on debut.

1 Unit – Cryptoshare (8)

  BET NOW: Ipswich Race 4

RACE 5 - 2:53PM: Class 1 Plate (1200 METRES)

Cunnamulla Fella (6) resumes here following a 27-week spell.

The Rob Heathcote-trained son of Better Than Ready looks ready for a bold showing based on a recent trial where he led before cruising to the line effortlessly.

He was beaten a nose last start in a stronger race at Eagle Farm but did win his only previous start over this course and distance.

Martin Harley should settle in a prominent position and give his mount every chance.

1 Units – Cunnamulla Fella (6)

  BET NOW: Ipswich Race 5

RACE 6 - 3:28PM: BM65 Handicap (1350 METRES)

Touch Of Gracie (6) is up in class but enters this race in great form as she looks for three wins in a row.

The Corey and Kylie Geran-trained mare proved too strong when winning two starts back at Toowoomba over 1300m.

She then went to Rockhampton last start where she stormed home to win by a length, again over 1300m to land some big bets.

There is no doubting that barrier 13 is awkward, but she always gives a massive show, and the likely strong speed will aid her chances.

RACE 7 - 4:03PM: Colts, Geldings and Entires BM65 Handicap (1350 METRES)

Anemacore (3) created an impression last preparation with two wins and two placings from his four starts and he looks to have come back this preparation in just as good form.

The Shaun Dwyer-trained four-year-old gelding hit the front in the straight at the Sunshine Coast when resuming last start, but fitness and the heavy track caught him out and he was picked off in the shadows of the post to finish a nose second.

He'll have taken great improvement from that run and he'll appreciate getting on a drier track.

He's drawn to get a great run for Michael Rodd.

2 Units – Anemacore (3)

  BET NOW: Ipswich Race 7

RACE 8 - 4:38PM: Class 5 Handicap (1200 METRES)

Sha Of Gomer (2) resumes here and can produce a big fresh run despite what the form guide indicates.

The Chris Waller-trained gelding was seven-weeks between runs when taking on 1400m at Eagle Farm four starts ago and winning in fine style.

Poor barriers have been a problem with this guy, but that won't be the case here given he has drawn barrier 1.

Mark Du Plessis has a good association with the son of Shalaa and can settle in a handy position.

1 Unit – Sha Of Gomer (2)

  BET NOW: Ipswich Race 8
