RACE 1 - 11:35AM Taylors Wines Three-Years-Old Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)

Prince Tikea was beaten 2.8 lengths behind Alpha Flight on debut back in March and was then OK behind Aitch Two Oh. He's had two trials back and looks hard to beat. The Great Baby has race experience and was beaten 4.5 lengths behind Nostryia on debut at Morphettville. Base Of Fire was well beaten in the same race but has been specked early. On debut we have CALL ME AL from the Richards and Moyle stable and he looked OK in a recent jump out when he sat wide and looks ready for the races. John Hyam's Zyrian trialled behind Merchant Boss at Morphettville, Lotto Fight was well beaten in a trial behind Sghirripa at Murray Bridge and debut for Peter Blanch.

SELECTIONS: 3 PRINCE TIKEA, 5 The Great Baby, 2 Call Me Al, 7 Lotto Fight
PLAY: Happy to watch on early.

RACE 2 - 12:10PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)

Lockdown Sally resumes here and has the best form of the raced brigade. She was placed at her first three starts and has raced since chasing home Magic Max at Morphettville back in March, that's very good form and she has firmed quickly since betting opened. Final Jedi was OK when 3rd behind Perfect Panda at Mount Gambier on Sunday. On debut we have Storm Hunter who won a Murray Bridge trial impressively for the Clarken/MacGillivray stable and drawn perfectly in gate five. Rippingly is in the Stokes stable and was runner-up behind Base Of Fire in a Murray Bridge trial. Hooked On Wealth is in the Kent/Francis stable and ran 3rd in a Murray Bridge trial behind Sghirripa.

SELECTIONS: 7 LOCKDOWN SALLY, 3 Storm Hunter, 6 Hooked On Wealth, 5 Final Jedi
PLAY: Keen on LOCKDOWN SALLY.

RACE 3 - 12:45PM Atlas Event & Party Hire Maiden Plate (1600 METRES)

DEEP'N MEANINGFUL started in SA and was placed on the Parks and at Strathalbyn when favourite back in December. He was a $2.50 fav first-up from a spell when well beaten at Ballarat on the synthetic and then eased from $17-$31 and was ridden off the speed and made ground to run 5th at Donald last time. He draws a gate and must be respected. MELODY SHINE worked home well behind Oh No George at Murray Bridge last week and could be a danger. CHARTIN has been around the mark and was only beaten 2.7 lengths behind Imposing Suspect last time. GULINGI ran 2nd in the same race and had OK Victorian form. VICTORY TIME made good ground from a long way back when 4th behind Lucky Blue at Gawler last time. CALLED TO ACCOUNT debut for Michael Hickmott and has two solid trials under his belt,

SELECTIONS: 10 DEEP'N MEANINGFUL, 12 Melody Shine, 3 Chartin, 5 Gulingi
PLAY: Not a race I'm keen on.

RACE 4 - 1:20PM Haulmark Class Two Handicap (1400 METRES)

A couple of nice horses at the top. KUNG FU FIGHTING won a Murray Bridge maiden before running 3rd behind Our Destrier there back in January, the winner going on for a successful Darwin campaign. BOOLCUNDA KING has shown ability. He won a Strathalbyn maiden and ran a very good race when 4th in the Port Adelaide Guineas before running down the track in the Chairman's Stakes. He looked good winning a recent trial. SOMEWATT FABULOUS comes off a good run making ground from the back behind Montign. She draws a nice barrier and has the ability to win a race like jumping quickly from 1250m to the 1400m. IMPOSING SUSPECT produced a big run to beat Gulingi at Murray Bridge last time and looks to have upside. Stablemate STAR LYRIC gets the blinkers again here. CLASSY KENNY has firmed since markets opened.

SELECTIONS: 2 KUNG FU FIGHTING, 1 Boolcunda King, 3 Somewatt Fabulous, 6 Imposing Suspect
PLAY: 1,2,3 in a trifecta.

RACE 5 - 1:55PM TAB Benchmark 54 Handicap (1050 METRES)

JIMMY'S EDGE has been close-up in recent starts placed behind Madam Furphy three starts back and then 4th behind Old Time Rock. He led when reeled in late behind The Magistrate at Murray Bridge last time but has found a winnable race here. SKARA BRAE is a winner here and her past couple have been OK harder races. She will be the horse to shorten given the Jamie Kah factor and she'll run a big race. MISS CATASTROPHI resumes here and went to the paddock winning at Bordertown back in March. She is a winner fresh and draws a good barrier. FRENCH ROCK has a good record here with 2 wins from his 6 starts and he wasn't beaten far behind The Magistrate at Murray Bridge last start. SELF SUFFICIENT would be in a race like this on his best form, he was placed at his only start here, but he needs to lift. SOPHINA DIVA led and gave and sight at big odds at Murray Bridge last time.

SELECTIONS: 2 JIMMY'S EDGE, 9 Skara Brae, 6 Miss Catastrophi, 5 French Rock
PLAY: Backing JIMMY'S EDGE from the good gate.

RACE 6 - 2:30PM Clare Valley Toyota Mares Benchmark 58 Handicap (1300 METRES)

GRACEFUL EAGLE was slow out before getting going late behind Nana Dulce at Morphettville last time. She has the ability if she can out it together to give a race like this a big shake. JIVE BABY as a good record here and defeated Nana Dulce here in June and has made good ground her past couple behind Cheloon and Tony Montana. BELLAVARDO comes out of the same race and was disappointing. She was placed at Sandown back in June and look for an improved effort here. ALPINE FUN came off the speed for a strong maiden win at Gawler last time beating Pretentious Lass and must be respected in a race like this. The best version of MAID IN MILAN would be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: 5 GRACEFUL EAGLE, 7 Jive Baby, 3 Bellavardo, 2 Alpine Fun
PLAY: Something on GRACEFUL EAGLE each-way again.

RACE 7 - 3:05PM Coopers Benchmark 64 Handicap (1200 METRES)

SAVILLE is a nice horse who was placed here on debut before winning his maiden here three starts back. He went to town and was good beating So You Can before another very good effort behind the smart Taunting last time. He draws out but looks well placed here. ULTIMATE VICTORY came off the speed to beat Two Times Twice at Morphettville last start. His form has been solid he needs a touch of luck in his races but looks a danger. JACKS ON ICE is lightly raced and was runner-up here back in March. He led and was not match for Obi two runs back before being well beaten behind Heywood up in class. He looks an improver. Trevor Montgomerie has two runners who both raced in Alice Springs through April. FOX GEM was an impressive winner here first-up back in July. His two runs since have only been fair but he's a horse with upside. ADDICTIONS is a two-time winner here and fitter for one run back but has to carry 60kg after the claim. TANNER hasn't raced since the Pioneer Sprint and must be respected. SHOPSTER has won 3 of her last 5 and was a winner here three starts back.

SELECTIONS: 7 SAVILLE, 8 Ultimate Victory, 9 Jacks On Ice, 11 Fox Gem
PLAY: Backing ULTIMATE VICTORY each-way.

RACE 8 - 3:40PM TQCSI Balaklava Cup (1600 METRES)

Really open edition of the race and that's reflected in the market. OH MO has bene in great form, and he was brave when beaten a half length behind Dalasan in the Leon Macdonald Stakes last time. He draws a nice middle gate and looks great each-way value. Will Clarken has five runners. AGREEABLE hasn't fired in SA but her lead-up trial was good, and she does look like she's ready for the mile. Stablemate NONAME LANE was back to his best winning at Morphettville last time, he jumps sharply in trip. He backs up HIDDEN LEGEND after his return to winning form at Morphettville on Saturday. ZOULAH and HE'S EXCUSIVE both draw middle gates. WINNING PARTNER is chasing three Balaklava Cup wins on end, his Flemington effort when 2nd two starts back is good and it's impossible to ignore his record here. Stablemate COOLTH is back in trip and capable of improving. NOT USUAL GLORIOUS is flying and chasing 4 wins from his past 5 and he was strong leading throughout to win at Moonee Valley last time. If the track is racing on speed, he could be the one they have to beat. YURI ROYALE is chasing three wins on end and must be given plenty of thought from a good barrier here.

SELECTIONS: 12 OH MO, 6 Agreeable, 1 Not Usual Glorious, 5 Noname Lane
PLAY: Backing OH MO each-way here.

RACE 9 - 4:15PM Agfert Entires & Geldings Benchmark 58 Handicap (1300 METRES)

A lot will depend on the track and how the market reacts here. If they are leading and winning RUN AND TELL will firm heavily. He ran well when he led and was only grabbed late by Ultimate Victory last time. He draws the inside and should give a bold sight after the 4kg claim. EAST INDIAMAN draws a nice gate and was narrowly beaten by Five Pocket at Murray Bridge last time. He's a winner here and draws to be handy. YE HELLA has been in the money at both runs here and should be thereabouts from a middle barrier. WHEELS OF COURAGE maps to get a good run and his best can figure. GO BUNDLE was on speed and only tired late behind Ultimate Victory last start and has been placed here previously. BRAZILLIANT has been specked at odds and RUBBLE can improve here.

SELECTIONS: 1 RUN AND TELL, 11 East Indiaman, 7 Ye Hella, 8 Wheels Of Courage
PLAY: Something on YE HELLA each-way.
