Both horses haven't raced since running down the track behind Lombardo in the Group 1 Goodwood at Morphettville in May and are scheduled to resume at Caulfield in two weeks' time with Todd Pannell heading to Melbourne to ride.

"We're aiming both at Caulfield Cup Day,'' Smart Will Clarken's Racing Manager Lachlan Weekley said.

"Beau Rossa will resume in the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint (1000m) while Ironclad will kick off in the Moonga Stakes (Group 3) over the 1400m,'' he said.

They join Champagne Dreams who gallops between races alongside stablemate Aadelad earlier in the day.

The Aaron Bain-trained Toyetic will gallop between races at Gawler on Monday in his progression towards the Gawler Cup later this month.
