The five-year-old has won eight of 22 starts and returned to winning form at Murray Bridge last time out with trainer Travis Doudle unphased by a wide barrier.

"Drawn out there (barrier nine) isn't a bad thing,'' Doudle said.

"At least he can't be dictated too. We know he likes to roll forward, so we will walk the track and work out where is the best place to be and go from there,'' he said.

Doudle said the horse had progressed well heading into his third run this campaign.

"He galloped up good on Tuesday, we've been keeping him nice and fresh and that seems to be working for him,'' Doudle said.

Despite the three kilogram claim for Alana Livesey, Doudle is weary of his rivals.

"A lot of the other fancied horses have claimed around us,'' Doudle said.

"Sandy Prince is going to be a big threat with 52kg,'' he said.

MEANWHILE Lachlan Overall returns to Adelaide to make his metropolitan riding debut.

Overall, who started his career in South Australia before returning home to Victoria, has been booked to ride Palaggio and Lord Paramount for the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable as well as Saville for Greg Lesnikowski and Ryan Hennemann.
