First-up since she was involved in a race fall at Flemington back in March, Dubenenko's brilliance saw her power past her race fit rivals with Teagan Voorham in the saddle to claim the $102,250 Racing Rewards SA Two-year-old Plate.

"It was a good job from the team to get her back,'' Chris Bieg, who has taken the filly along slowly, said.

"I thought Teagan handled her really well, (it was) good to see her ease her through her gears rather than go from hero to zero,'' he said.

Bieg will head to the Listed Oaklands Plate at Morphettville in two week's time before he steadies up and targets the Melbourne Spring Carnival.

"She'll step out over 1400m in a fortnight in the Oaklands Plate and try and tick off this black type which is very important,'' Bieg said.

"(She) can probably afford two or three weeks in the paddock and then have three runs heading into the Thousand Guineas,'' he said.

Voorham said Dubenenko, who was beaten a touch over two lengths in the Group 1 Blue Diamond earlier in the year, has all the attributes to be competitive at the top level in her three-year-old season.

"She's a really nice horse,'' Voorham said.

"Class just prevailed, she makes my job easy that's for sure,'' she said.

Jake Toeroek all but secured the South Australian Metro Jockey Premiership with a riding double winning aboard the Paul Preusker-trained Brawl and Oracle Son for Phillip Stokes, sharing riding honours with Dom Tourneur.

Tourneur scored aboard the Jeff Searle-trained Turf Decision before continuing his association with the Peter and Belinda Blanch-trained Validated who claimed the $102,250 Racing Rewards SA Three-year-old Plate.

Validated now having banked connections $217,580 in seven starts since making his debut back in November.

SUNDAY at Port Augusta saw history for Lewis Grantham, as the 28-year-old trainer collected his first career winner. Dragonface was a short-priced favourite, and apprentice Rochelle Milnes had the final say as the gelding stormed home to overhaul Petra's Girl in the shadows of the post.
