Craig Williams is looking forward to reuniting with Giga Kick in a jump-out at Cranbourne. 

Last year's winner of The Everest headlines a group of four trials at the Cranbourne racecourse on Monday morning before the remainder of the heats will be held at the nearby training centre. 

Monday's jump-outs at the racecourse will cater for Group performers who are preparing to kick off their spring campaigns and come after racing returned to the course on Sunday. 

Giga Kick is set to trial in the opening heat over 800m where he will be opposed to Star Patrol, Magic Time, Rose Quartz, Wee Nessy and What You Need. 

Monday's jump-out will be Giga's Kick's first major hit-out since returning from Queensland where he was successful in the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 in May. 

Trainer Clayton Douglas kept Giga Kick in Queensland to spell before bringing him back to his Mornington base around six weeks ago. 

Douglas is planning to run Giga Kick first-up in the Group 2 McEwen Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley on September 9. 

Giga Kick's program is being geared towards the $20 million The Everest (1200m) at Randwick on October 14, a race he won last year at just his fifth race start while the trainer is also planning to tackle the $10 million Golden Eagle (1500m) at Rosehill with his star on November 4. 

Williams has been aboard Giga Kick in five of his seven wins, including The Everest, and is looking forward to having his first sit on the gelding this preparation. 

"From all reports he is in excellent order, and I cannot wait to reunite with him," Williams said. 

Giga Kick heads the market for The Everest at $3.50 and is the $4 top elect for the Golden Eagle. 

Also set to jump-out over at the racecourse on Monday are Grahame Begg's Caulfield and Melbourne Cup hopefuls Lunar Flare and Nonconformist who are set to trial over 1200m.
