Firstly, Swinging It ($3.20), having just her third start, ran her rivals ragged with an all-the-way win in the 1120m Maiden.

Well supported late in betting, Swinging It led from the jump and was too good for Rohzae ($2.60 fav) and Need A Giggle ($12).

Trainer Brendan McShane said the filly has some issues and was full of praise for her rider Hannah Le Blanc.

"I'm surprised that I'm the only one really putting her on, here's a girl riding trackwork and races and trials in the cream of Victorian racing, learning from the best in the business, and I'll keep putting her on because I know she is being schooled as best as possible."

The pair made it a double when Kaboom Kaboom ($6.50) scored a narrow win in the 1420m Maiden, beating Turf Puzzle ($4.40) and Cape Zoro ($19), then followed up in the very next race with smart mare Thelma ($4.40) who came from a midfield position to overhaul the opposition in a 1200m BM60.

"I try to get down every week, I've got to get enough rides to make it worthwhile, but when I do I try to make the best of it.

"I really enjoy riding over here," Le Blanc said after completing her first-ever treble.

Thelma has had just 15 starts for four wins and seven minor placings. The win took her stake earnings past $100,000.

Trainer Barry Campbell is toying with the idea of backing up his smart filly Aruma in the $125,000 3yo Cup over 1200m in Launceston next Wednesday night after she made it three-in-a-row in the 1620m 3YO Hcp.

Aruma ($3.60) sat second in the small field for most of the trip before heading off Winning Witness ($2.60 fav), who had made a sharp move at the 600m and then held off a challenge from Johnnie Pinch ($5.50) to win by half a length.

"She's pretty well foolproof, I think I might run her in the 3YO Cup next week. She gets no weight.

"If I do, I'll put a set of blinkers on her, I think she will freshen up nicely in a week," Campbell said.
