The Cats are flying high after winning the opening six games of the season and can be backed at 6.50 to go on and win the grand final.

There is a long way to go however, and Carlton who are 5-1 for the season, also have their eyes on the prize and are the same price at 6.50.

At the opposite end of the ladder, North Melbourne will be looking for their first win of the season when they entertain an Adelaide side who sit 1-5.

To wrap up the action, Fremantle need a response to the humiliating derby defeat against West Coast, when they take on the Bulldogs at Optus Stadium.

North Melbourne have had a poor start to the season, but it reached a new low with defeat against struggling Richmond last week.

They now have a chance to put the record straight against another side who are struggling for results, Adelaide.

It will be far from easy though as Adelaide have won the last three meetings by 66, 29 and 57 points respectively.

The Crows, who will think themselves unlucky to lose to Essendon last week, are priced at 5.50 to win by 25-36 points.

Nick Larkey will always be a threat for North Melbourne and, after kicking 13 goals this season, is 8.00 to get the first of the game.

. Odds: Geelong 1.68, Carlton 2.20

Geelong are on fire with six wins from six, but now face a tough run of fixtures, with Melbourne and Greater Western Sydney on the horizon.

However, first they must see off a Carlton side who have lost just once this season.

Geelong have won two of the last three meetings, but it was Carlton who came out on top by eight points last season.

If it is to be close again, then Geelong can be backed at 6.00 to win by 1-12 points.

Carlton will be on a high after knocking over GWS last week and another win over Geelong will have them believing 2024 is their year.

Charlie Curnow is averaging over three goals a game and is priced at 7.50 to boot the first goal of the game.

Dockers need to bounce back

. What: Fremantle v Western Bulldogs
. Where: Optus Stadium, Perth
. When: 20:30, Saturday 27th April 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel, Channel 7
. Odds: Fremantle 1.85, Western Bulldogs 1.97

Fremantle will have had a tough week after losing the derby to West Coast last week, and will be keen to bounce back and repay the supporters.

The Dockers have struggled to put points on the board, averaging just over 64 points a game during a three-match losing streak.

Western Bulldogs have been inconsistent this season but have the same record as Fremantle, winning three and losing three.

They bounced backed well when smashing St Kilda by 60 points last week and on their last trip to Perth in 2022 they beat the Dockers by 49 points.

It is likely to be a close game on Saturday night and the Bulldogs can be backed at 6.00 to win by 1-12.
