The Swans are six points clear at the top of the pile after winning nine of their opening 10 games in 2024.

They can be backed at 4.00 to go all the way and win the 2024 AFL grand final, but there is still a long way to go and the wins need to keep flowing.

The Bulldogs have been inconsistent this season, but have hit a bit of form when winning the last two games.

They are 51.00 to win the grand final, but making the top eight will be the first goal for Luke Beveridge's side.

They are currently 11th on the ladder, four points away from the eight, so there is work to be done.

Bulldogs back with a bang

The Bulldogs were in danger of seeing their top-eight hopes slide away this season, but two wins on the bounce have got them back on track.

It started with a dominant 89-point win over Richmond, and the confidence gained in that victory carried over into the clash against Greater Western Sydney.

The Bulldogs won by 27 points on the Giants home deck to move within one win of the eight and finals footy.

Now they need to keep the good times rolling against a Sydney side that have lost just one game in 2024.

Their record against them is not great, winning just once in the last three games, however there was nothing in last season's clash.

Sydney won it by just two points at the SCG, and the Bulldogs will be hoping the home comforts of Marvel Stadium can turn things their way.

The Bulldogs can be backed at 2.75 to win by 1-39 points.

Adam Treloar starred in the win over the Giants when producing 35 disposals, while Sam Darcy and James Harmes booted a couple of goals each.

Much of the same will be needed if the Bulldogs are to turn over the Swans.

Sydney continue to fly

There appears to be no stopping Sydney, who head into the game on the back of six straight victories.

Their latest came at the expense of Carlton at the SCG in round 10. The Swans recovered from a sluggish start to win by 52 points.

Now they head to Marvel Stadium looking to keep the good run going.

They lost by 11 points the last time they played the Bulldogs in 2022, but a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.

Their one defeat this season did come on the road at Richmond, but apart from that blip they have travelled well, winning at Fremantle in round nine.

The Swans can be backed at 4.75 to blow the Bulldogs away and win by 40+, while they are 2.10 to win by 1-39.
