Blake Shinn (Private Eye): "Good run, ran well. Probably better suited on a little bit firmer deck but he ran well."

Tyler Schiller (Mazu): "Brave run. He probably had to do too much bullocking work but the rhythm he got into he flowed really nicely and I thought he let down strong. He may just be looking for a bit further to stop those horses being so sharp from behind.

Danny Beasley (Body Bob): "Obviously he was a bit outclassed there today. Credit to Pat and the connections. They had a throw at the stumps. I remember back in the day this was a time-honoured race. Used to have 16-horse fields and it was a bloody hard to get a runner in let along a winner. Pat and the connections had a crack so hats off to them."

Jamie Kah (Chain Of Lightning): "Not sure. A bit disappointing. Her action didn't feel great on the surface today."

Nash Rawiller (Espiona): "She was great. Had a plan to have her in earshot of them today when they got there before the corner and she came into it beautifully. If anything, probably set the race up for the winner as it turned out. Honest as always, my girl>"

Adam Hyeronimus (Wee Nessy): "She was good. She ended up in a nice position, travelled well and presented to win. It is just up to the stable whether she has had enough or needs to come back to mares grade."
