Craig Bellamy's side are looking the real deal this season, with six wins from seven games, and are priced at 6.00 to go on and win the grand final.

Their next assignment is a trip to the Gold Coast to take on a Titans side that picked up their first win of the season last week.

Elsewhere, the opening game of the day sees the Canterbury Bulldogs take on Wests Tigers, while there is also a Queensland derby to look forward to.

North Queensland Cowboys sit a couple of points behind the sixth-placed Dolphins, and will be out to close the gap in Townsville.

The Bulldogs should be refreshed and ready to go again following the bye in round eight.

Before the break they comfortably saw off Newcastle Knights 36-12 and need another two points to keep themselves in the top eight.

The Bulldogs are enjoying life on home soil, scoring over 30 points in each of the last three games, and they will be out to do the same to the Tigers.

They can be backed at 2.40 to win by 13+ points.

The Tigers have shown this season they can pull off an upset, but have lost their last nine games at Accor Stadium.

The Storm continue to shine this season and head to the Gold Coast on the back of a four-match winning streak.

Cbus Super Stadium has also been a happy hunting ground for them, winning seven out of the last eight visits there.

They will be missing influential winger Xavier Coates, but have enough talent to cope with the loss, including Cameron Munster.

The star playmaker will be making his 200th NRL appearance and is priced at 3.75 to celebrate the occasion with a try at any time.

Melbourne are also 6.00 to win by 16-20 points.

Dolphins out to end derby hoodoo

. When: 19:35 (AEST), Saturday 4th May 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: North Queensland Cowboys 1.44, Dolphins 2.80

The Cowboys and Dolphins will both be looking to bounce back following disappointing losses to the Panthers and Knights respectively, in round eight.

The two sides have already met this season, with the Cowboys running out 43-18 winners in the opening round.

However they have not kicked on since then, and sit 4-4 for the season, while the Dolphins are 4-3.

Kyle Feldt loves playing against the Dolphins, scoring four tries in the last three games against them, and is priced at 7.50 to grab the first of the game.

The Dolphins have struggled in their last four Queensland derby games, winning just one.

They can be backed at 8.00 to turn things around and win this one by 1-5 points.
