Piggyback won on debut and then was instantly spelled. She has had 2 trials leading into this that to the eye were passable but nothing outstanding. Key reason to be against her today is the race map. From the wide barrier I'm excepting she will be at the back of the field needing to make up good ground late. Thinking there is improvement to come and she is one to follow.
Cranbourne: Race 7; #2 Sacred Bull 
Sacred Bull has a low percentage racing pattern and if the track is playing on-speed, I find it hard to mark him favourite. His runs this preparation have been ok but no better than Porter or the impressive last start victory of Pure Power.
GREYHOUNDS
Geelong: Race 11; #7 Silver Brute
Silver Brute has won his last 5 but this is a hot race. When he is well into red figures I'm inclined to take him on. He has been beaten 7 times over this trip also so there is no such thing as a certainty. I'm hoping My Magic Man and Zella Bale can get a bruise free run on the lure in order for this Lay to be successful.
Rockhampton: Race 1; #8 Tijuana Twinkle
Admittedly, Tijuana Twinkle is the best dog in this race and was most impressive scoring last week; however, she is well found here and maps awfully. She stepped well last week from box two and instantly crashed down to the rail. She didn't have the speed to hold out the pressure which rings alarm bells for today's race as she's drawn widest with plenty of speed drawn underneath.
Such A Life showed more box speed last week and wanted to get up the track which leads me to believe Tijuana Twinkle will be caught wide for the first half of the race which reads poorly at her current quote.
